I am not exactly a newbie, have had a few encounters with a few providers on business trips. Now the trips will not happen for another 6-8 months. My question is that since I live in a small town, 5 mins away from work and the nearby city (with a few reviewed providers) is about 40 minutes away, how do I see providers? Since I live 5 mins from work, it will be hard to sneak away for 2-3 hrs from SO. Any one else in my situation still sucessfully Hobbying? I am thinking of getting a hotel locally and having the providers come and do outcalls, but am afraid to do it in a small town where I could be outed.
Not sure if you have an SO, but nothing like a weekend hobby road trip to a major city.
Well, I'm having to readjust my hobby schedule because the wife retired... so it is very hard to plan ahead.
I will not hobby close to home... too conspicious. You might pull it off occasionally if desired. Probably no one at the hotel would ask but the workmen at house is a good line to remember.
Most of my play time is 60 minutes away and always 30.
Occasionally, SO takes a day to visit realitives or has some other appointment which leaves me free.
When I started the hobby, I promised myself I'd not do anything stupid. I am having to readjust my thinking to keep that promise.

If not, you'll have to find something that works for you even if it's waiting for a time your wife goes off to visit a relative on her own.

With all the emphasis we place on hobbying safely and avoiding LE, it's the home front that is the most devastating.
Between breaking up the marriage, embarrasment in front of friends and family and the high $ cost of a divorce, we all need to be triple careful there.
I should know as I screwed up and it cost me big time.
but I still do consulting work which gives me a chance to travel. I also sometimes travel to have lunch with former colleagues in nearby towns (100-150 miles away). I always find time to have desert either before lunch or after.
Sometimes ladies will be touring my area and that gives me another opportunity to "go to the gym" if you get my drift. Just park in the back of the hotel where your car will not be seen and I always come home freshly showered, just like a visit to the gym.
There's just nothing like being in the great outdoors, or going to the gym. some men golf, fish, camp, etc.
Personally, I take weekend long motorcycle trips, go camping, mountain bike riding, and sometimes I actually go do those things!
Sometimes it takes a hobby to make a hobby ;o)
I have a similar situation.
Primarily I hobby when my SO is away visiting her family which I heartily encourage.
Beyond that I have gotten into the habit of disappearing for a few hours on a regular basis, even when I'm not up to anything naughty. I won't answer the phone and give vague answers to where I am. It has gotten her out of the habit of checking up to with me.
It seems to work. I still don't like coming home after a hobby visit.

Nothing like a little separateness to keep the relationship with your SO fresh. Who was it that said, "For better or for worse but not for lunch." In my case we've evolved to a point where I can be totally honest about it. We are both free to pursue our desires and the honesty has brought us closer. It really is amazing, whether it lasts or not.
I think you can feel your shoulders getting stiff even now...
The most qualified massage therapist is in the other town...
Unfortunately, she doesn't massage women, so your SO needs to go elsewhere if she wants a massage...
