No provider will pick up a blocked number.

Are you leaving a voice mail message and if so, do you give specific instructions on when is a good time to call you?

Providers are leary to call back as they won't know if doing so could compromise you.

Finally, why not try email?  That is the preferred way of contact for most gals these days.

keep trying, and start out with well reviewed providers. Eventually you will find one that can pick up her phone.

There are a few providers that don't seem to pick up. anyone has any idea how to fix this???
i can't even get them to verify with my references if they don't pick up the phone in the very first place.....
i have NOT stood up on any dates or done anything bad.

Anyone knows what can I do?

Some ladies are much more receptive to 1st contact via e-mail (and other through phone).

She may well be working--at this job or another.  Or with family.  Or sleeping.  Because many ladies' schedules are not "standard" I have found e-mail is generally better unless she says "please call".

I take it you're trying to call numbers that providers have posted in ads for same day or next day appointments. It's not at all unusual for them not to pick up for the reasons given. Their mailboxes are often full as well.

Unless they say to email them in their ads, it's not generally a good alternative. More often than not, when I've turned to texting I've gotten a response. Be sure to include important details--your desired appt. time and session length, and when they can call you back.

Never heard that email was for long term appointments. Texting where I hobby is NOT a preferred method. Many ads state "no texting"   Now once you've seen a lady it's a different story.   Oh well, each part of the country has different ways of doing business.

I see mostly providers under 25 years old. They've grown up with texting since grade school. For many of them, picking up a ringing phone or checking email is considered a bother.

I didn't say that email is ONLY for long-term appts. Just that there's a broad correlation. It makes more sense for deliberate planning with the kind of chicks who post on TER and that regulars on these boards gravitate towards. But not necessarily for most providers in general.

which applies to his situation better. I'm certainly not taking any of this personally, just chipping in with what I've learned .. and others seem be to overlooking. Now aren't you glad you know?

Have you checked her website to make sure you're calling during the hours of operation, or even working that day? I don't start answering my phone until 2pm, & won't answer after 10:30-11pm. Some ladies require that you send references to their e-mail prior to calling them, so if they don't recognize the # as someone who they've screened, they won't answer. And finally, are you leaving a message when calling with a name, return number they can call back & a time frame in which they can return your call... if not, most won't return your phone call.

if you don't start answering your phone until 2:00?

"IF you are calling for SAME DAY appointment, I'm available after 2pm with 1 HOURS NOTICE"

GREAT pictures BTW.  I might have to start traveling.

LOL... didn't even realize that I misquoted myself like that... it should say appts before 2pm, need to be scheduled the night before, otherwise, I start ANSWERING at 2pm(can't check in for incall until 3pm).

BTW, thanks:)

Like how you mentioned in another post about regional differences.

I'm in hiddenhills region, and I can tell you that the young providers don't accept texting that much more than the mature ones.

I too have also found, however, that if you establish a relationship with a provider she may allow you to text with her IF you have good reason. e.g. you cannot make phone call because of family always around to hear you.

I am an Indi. No one answers my calls but me. I can't pick up however if I am entertaining, or at an indiscreet location at the time the call comes in. If a message is left with a specific time to call back & I am available to do so at that time, I will. Follow-up emails would be your best option here. You can try Text messaging, however this is typically the least reliable method of communication.

If you are using a company cell, or office phone, more often than not these phones will come up restricted, or unavailable. Most ladies won't answer them. There are plenty of reputable ladies to choose from. Try calling several that spark an interest as well as the preferred lady, or ladies. At least that way someone will answer & you will be able to have some fun while waiting for the gals at the top of you list.

Good luck hon!

I really would rather not text. For me, a phone call or an email convey the same information in a fraction of the time with more expressiveness. I've just found that it works. I can't count the number of times in the past year when, after calling was getting me nowhere, a text got a response that led to a date.

It's interesting to hear how much your experience differs.  All I know is that on a few trips through the Midwest, I've had the same results as here in the Southeast. And I'm sure the age of the providers I tend to see and the short-term aspect play a part in its usefulness. If not the OP, maybe somebody out there can benefit from it.

I prefer a call 10 to 1 over email, about 2 to 1 over text.

Texting has it's place for me, that is when I can't speak out loud, but I have my smartphone and her number. In my area I wish more women used it simply for those times that it is the right tool.

I know you're on the money with the age thing. That probably true in general across the U.S. That's the reason I pointed out that my experience in our area is in line with "the other HH." Our area seems to have a bit of its own character. At least from what I've been able to gather from comments on the boards here.
