Hotel room issues

Hi everyone,
I really don't travel all too often and like to see local girls in the Central Florida area, but I'm sort of in a pickle. Most of the local girls are out-call only and being that I live locally, that usually means I have to get a hotel room. No problem so far. The problem is timing, I need to see girls during the workday as I'm married. It seems all of the hotels have a 3pm checkin time and a 11am checkout time (sometimes 12 noon but not always). So from 11am till 3pm, there's no dice, unless I rent it for 2 days.
For a morning visit from 9am to 11am (2 hours) I would need to rent it for the previous evening, drop by and check in the previous day and just go to the room the next morning to meet the girl.
For a 3pm to 5pm visit, I'd need to checkin at 3pm, hope a room is ready and have the girl meet me at 3:30ish with a phone call to let her know what room number. WHAT A HASSLE.

Does anyone know a system that works better than this?
Thanks,
AM

I don't know a better system, but I do know hotels have rooms available before 3:00 p.m.. I have been managing hotels for almost twenty years and I usually have rooms available around noon time.  It is the Management and Front Desk staff's choice to whether you will get that room prior to 3:00 p.m.. The choice by the Front Desk to give you that room or not before 3:00p.m. is based on your attitude.  If you demand a room before 3:00 p.m. you more than likely will not get it!  If your very nice to the Front Desk Staff and ask nicely, odds are you will get the room before 3:00 p.m..  You will even have a better chance of getting the room early if you are not picky about room location (ie. first floor pool view),room type (ie.smoking/non-smoking) or bed type (ie.number of beds in room, queen, king, double).

Hope This Helps,

When you book the room ask for early check in. The nicer hotels I've been in don't have a problem with that although you may have to take a smoking room.

If you live in a city that has a Sybaris (www.sybaris.com), they offer Afternoon Getaway packages from 12:30pm to 4:30pm.  Perhaps there is a place that's similar to Sybaris?  Check things out; there's gotta be *something* that serves the hobby market.
Best of luck.

Most good hotels offer day rates.  This is more common near airports, but is also avialble in most cities.  The time frame is usually from noon until six or so - and the fee can be as little as half the regular rate.

You could also try asking for an early check in or a late check out.

call the hotel directly to make the reservation and ask if they are sold out the night before. if they arent there will be rooms that are vacant and clean in the morning. you should be able to check in anytime.

i was in the hotel business for a long time too.

Many hotels will let you check in earlier.
