How would you go about researching? Checked on reviewed agencies. Not many there either. No regional board to pose a question.

Cityvibe.com but also cross check with TER Reviews.

Just how remote is this place? They might have a newspaper or second tier newspaper (tabloid) with lots of classifieds and personal ads. The W4M personals can be pretty transparent compared to someone looking for a relationship or husband but it still doesn't guarantee "safe". You might want to google news of the area for any recent busts or LE activity; see the desert divas reply. I am guessing that if you ask the POLITE locals for the newspapers with the local bar, club, concert and entertainment calendars and ads that that's what you're looking for.

You know that LE isn't going to go to the cost and trouble of a YP ad.

It will be mostly agencies, but these are often the same agencies people on here use, so it's not that big a deal.

Before the internet and TER I used YP all the time with pretty good results.

YP today are not what they used to be.

While YP are not likely LE, depending where you are they are mostly rip-offs.  CL has rip-offs and LE but with care & cross-checking you can find good ones

Pretty open-ended search here (no race, etc.) had reviews 1+ year old within 5 or 6 results! It just doesn't seem right to go to Paradise and not visit Heaven!

Surely you can find one or two that meets your criteria, not to mention all the traveling ladies that visit Hawaii. You might also try doing a search under "Hawaiian Islands" in the city field, it yields 384 reviews.

Just putting minimum 8's in looks and performance and no TS dropped it to 35 total, with reviews a year old + within 8 reviews. My question was more related in general to "What if there isn't enough info here? What other resources do you use." I've gotten a few good responses and leads. I'll keep at it. Thanks.

and the pickings were pretty slim. There were a couple of nice AMP like places that I found and they weren't too bad.
