I've been in contact with a well reviewed provider, since my ref's are few she has asked for my home phone # as a way of verification . I expect she'll Google it and see what comes up. Good or bad move ?Whats the consensus ? And can I ask what she does w/ personal info ?
When I started, my first lady asked me my home phone. I presume she did reverse look up on it to confirm I was who I said. As she stated, she'd not EVER call it & didn't. I still see her from time to time. You have to be willing to give some information to get verified. What information can vary. skb
Okay, doing a reverse phone number lookup only confirms that you are who you said you are. It doesn't confirm that you're not LE. So I don't see how that works.
That would be a big influence on whether or not to give her your home phone. If you are single, live alone, should not be a big deal. Not sure if I would do it if there is someone else who uses the phone in your home.
