I know being a hobbyist isn't risk free but help me out here. When you call a provider do they normally keep a record of your e-mails and/or phone calls? Also, I understand that there is a very low chance of contracting HIV from uncovered oral (giving and getting) but what about other SDS.  I've read on some health websites that they're easier to catch. Of course I'd be hoping to visit a well reviewed provider. Lastly, just curious, are hobbyists in their 60's uncommon? Thanks for the input.

Sparky, first if you see an agency then most do keep the records to some extent. Indy's usually at least keep some of your info in case you want to see them again although this varies from lady to lady.

If you will do a std search here on std's a Mr.Fisher has a chart showing that percentage of risks. You are correct in that a well reviewed provider lessens those chances as they get tested regularly and many posts say that your chances are less with these ladies than a civie relationship.

Being in your 60's is quite normal and the ladies young or old have no problem with that at all. You will find these ladies are very non-judging in you as long as you are clean, with fresh breath and act like a gentleman and treat them with respect.

Good luck as I can tell you it's one of the best decisions I've ever made to enter the hobby world!

A smart provider does not keep your email history. Some will retain your cell number, or another identifying bit of information (a nickname or whatever). It is smart for you as well not to retain the email history or anything linking you to the hobby on a computer.

STDs are a real risk. However:

1 - just because it is transmitted by fucking nad sucking instead of breathing, drinking water or eating does not make it a serious disease. Would you rather catch yellow fever, malaria, smallpox, polio, hemmoragic fever etc. or clap, gono, etc?  Most STDs go away with the proper antibiotic. The answer is to take responsibility for your health and test regularly.

2 - internet sites that are anti-sex will quote ridiculous numbers with respect to STD transmission. Respected clinical research indicates that the transmission rates for most STDs are very very low. Take the level of precautions that you are comfortable with.
(NOTE: I went bareback mostly in the third world for over twenty years and caught fewer than 10 instances of STDs, all of which went away with a simple antibiotic. I have not caught any in almost twenty years since using condoms for PIV sex. I do participate in daty and bbbj)

To my knowledge there is *no* peer reviewed and documented case of HIV transmission from oral sex alone.... and the instance of HIV transmission from *unprotected* vaginal intercourse is less than 1 instance in 100,000.....

With respect to age? Yes, hobbyists in their 60s are very common and highly desired by many providers. For what it's worth, I'm 59, and the ladies seem to like me just fine....
