I will not throw BP under the bus. Yes, there are some low life's on BP, and yeas LE does monitor the site and conduct stings.
Your vehicle of advertising can take a back seat to your screening procedures. Should you screen sufficiently you can lessen your chance of being targeted.
I will also point out that BP is a good place to advertise in some areas, but not all.

As far as hobbyists not wanting to book providers who advertise on BP, that is nonsense. If you look at the posted TER reviews you will see many for providers who advertise on BP.

You should read the self help center here on TER, and try to hook up with an experienced provider in your area.

Advertising here on your regional board would be a good start also.

I am new to this, I haven't been a provider long at all. I made what I call a novice mistake or so I have been told. I was posting an ad on backpage maybe once a month and had gotten a good response. I was recently told that backpage is the "ghetto". That it is filled with LE and that the "cheap" girls post there. Is this true? Any of it? I was told also some gentlemen won't see a provider if she posts on backpage. Man, I just didn't know.

So, besides exxxxxs.com, where do I post? What do you say about websites, does anyone reccommend one? Anyone discourage it? I have a lot to learn......HELP!

It is essentially the same as Craigslist's old section.  I've heard stories from providers about LE activities on it.

Other sites that are to varying degrees better include: EROS, Cityvibe, ECCIE ... most important of all is screening all your potential clients by requesting more than 1 reference from reputable providers.

BP is not ghetto necessarily just not trusted. Reviews obviously will help but for the most part most guys on here are skeptical at best of the girls on there. Alot of ripoffs, baitnswitch, agencies and yes more LE. Yes it is true the cheaper providers usually post there but alot of newbie girls also. You said you were getting a good response so its obviously not true men won't see a girl on BP. You just might not be getting the quality of clients you could be with good reviews and yes a website. Most guys want to see a website and it adds to being seen as legit.  As far as where to post its hard to say w/out knowing what city you are in. It varies by region it seems. Hope this was helpful and good luck. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Check out the rules in the self help center, back on the main page of the newbie board under the life preserver. Use one of those build yourself escort websites.  Your best form of advertising is great reviews. Be patient, if you've got what it takes, guys will flock to you. Good luck

I am new, too, and initially just posted on Eros and Girl Directory. Eventually I threw BP in and it's led to several bookings with perfectly nice guys. There are some jerks cruising BP, but you can take measures to filter them out. I personally prefer not listing my phone number on BP and including my relatively high rates to filter some bad guys out (not all sites let you put the rate right in the ad) Screen carefully and don't let conversations become sexually explicit. BP has some "new Craigslist" type baggage, so I encourage you to use the site, but with caution! Otherwise, building a presence on this forum and other discussion/review sites like eccie will work wonders and it's semi-free advertising.

I've gotten some of my best clients from BP (and formerly CL).

Just make sure to screen; there ARE some creeps out there, so be careful.

I don't have VIP just now, so if have any questions, email me at my site.

Welcome to the sisterhood!

your clients.  List an e-mail address rather than a phone number so you are not bothered at all hours.  Screen your clients well, require multiple references, and you should be fine.  Girls that advertise 15 minute quickies or 30 minute specials will attract a lower form of hobbyist than those who advertise with a 1 hr. minimum.  Only give out your phone number once the client has been screened and the date is set.

You can also advertise on your regional TER board once a week.  Post on your regional board so guys will get to know you.  If you offer a high level of service for a reasonable price, the reviews will come and so will the increase in business.  Good luck.

As a client seeking a provider, I react positively to providers who have made an investment in promoting the business.  If she appears on more expensive venues like Eros, and if in particular she takes the time and trouble to have a good website, the message that communicates to me is that this woman takes the profession seriously, and is more likely to invest in making sure I have a good time. In contrast, a minimalist approach to advertising sends the message to me that there is a risk of a minimalist approach to the session.

There are, of course, exceptions on both sides - there are many fine providers who only advertise on BP, and there are frauds who spend money to advertise on Eros.  My only point is to say that from the view of the consumer - when I am looking at where to start - this plays a role in my decision-making.

I would also note that being active on board like this is a great way to let the community of potential customers know about you, your personality, and your virtues.  A provider who is a regular poster zooms to the top of my list of women to look at.  And it costs nothing but your time.

I use backpage all the time. I check the phone number on TER and if they do not have any reviews, I probably wont see them. But I have met many very good providers on bp.

I'm one of those who are leery about BP (sorry, guys) for many reasons, not the least of which is that most of the ads there (at least in my area) look like they were composed by teenagers and sent in via a text message. Spelling errors, bad grammar, "cute" titles with lots of stupid "cute" characters, and more often than not, some variation of "I'm the hottest thing you'll ever have and will ruin you for all other women, you gotta have this, come get it now!". Bullshit on that. A woman could have a smoking hot body, but if the ad looks like it was made by a preschooler, she won't even be in consideration (even if the photos were real and taken yesterday).

So, no matter where you advertise, just be professional, advertise yourself professionally, and act professional. You'll get the quality clients, and will soon learn to weed out the scumbags.

All of my dates have been from BP with no complaints. Run the Tel# thru TER if no reviews i pass. Do  the research so far i have only seen providers with at least 2 TER reviews most have numerous reviews and have found them pretty much on the money.

Although they say all those things about backpage there are a lot of providers who still use backpage. With the amount of people who view the escorts on backpage they make money and that is what it is about, sometimes you don't have time to sit on review sites and boards and you just want some appointments already! Develop your own opinion and when you find whatever works best for you, do that!!!
