Hey everyone. I love this site and these forums and browse them daily. I haven't been hobbying that long. I've seen about 10 providers in the last three years, so I guess I've been averaging around 3 providers a year. I don't break the bank doing it...obviously, I could be doing better things with the money like investing or something, but, I really enjoy seeing providers and I like to treat myself to some good fun every now and then. Nothing wrong with that right?
From browsing these boards, it seems like there aren't many hobbyists like me. In that I mean, I am only 28 years old. It seems like that makes me a child in this world. Do people find it strange that young guys partake in this hobby? I've had sex before I even discovered this stuff with civie girls so it wasn't a thing where I desperately wanted to lose my virginity. I had no problem getting regular girls and I first discovered this hobby after a relationship I was in for 5 years came to an end and I was really upset about it and thought this would cheer me up, probably not the best reasons for starting it, but oh well, I enjoyed it. And in the past 3 years I've dated regular chicks in between, thats probably why I haven't gone nuts and seen three times as many ladies.
Whenever I see a provider, I always get it in the back of my mind that they will be put off by my age and will have some kind of negative feeling towards me, or I think 'Do they think I'm pathetic'? One time a provider joked "Are you young enough to be here", and while I know she was just trying to be funny, I was a little sensitive to it. I know I'm probably over thinking it, but that's just how I am. I still enjoy the experience once things get going, but its always that initial nervousness and thinking 'What will she think of me' before hand that I can never shake.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. Sorry If I bored everyone to death. Just wanted to say hello and get an idea of how common it is for younger guys my age to be in this hobby?
Glad you found us here. You're right, base on your history, you are fairly new, but don't let that deter you. Yes, like all of us, you could be letting your money make money as opposed to seeing providers. But, if you are not messing with your living funds, why not do it? Right again, compared to most of us, you are pretty young. Now, we don't find your presence strange here, after all, we do not know why you choose to do this instead of looking for a civvie girl to settle down with aside from what you shared with us. We all know civvie dating can be very trying, on need to elaborate on that point.
Trust me, the providers are not interested in why you are there but that you come prepared to see them. If someone (a provider) comments on your age, she really does not mean anything bad about it, esp if she is a highly regarded provider. However, keep this in mind, many providers will not even consider seeing someone as young as you are, so relax and enjoy the fun. What she thinks about you is irrevelant, what you think about you is. To answer your last question, I don't think it is really very common for guys your age to hobby, but you are far from being alone, age-wise. here. You just have different reasons for being here than many of us older guys.

I get calls all the time from guys under the age of 30. As was mentioned they hobby for various reasons, some its just a matter of being so busy with their career that they dont have time to develop a civvie relationship, some its because they like variety, but there are a wide range of reasons why anyone would chose to hobby regardless of age.
Instead of worrying about what the lady will think of you, dont sweat it. If she is a professional, she will enjoy your company. If there's something about you - like your age, that she isn't comfortable with, she will decline to see you and hopefully let you know why. I personally do not see anyone under the age of 30 only because I am in my 40s and its a comfort level thing with me, its never anything personal against the guy who was asking for the session.
Older, educated, successful men are more likely to be able to pay higher rates.
I'm not sure you aware of the fact that some guys try to hire escorts for outcall just to rob them. So, when I get a request from a younger guy (you can tell the age by the "What's up? You wanna party?") in an apartment, I am thinking I am more likely to get robbed than he plans on actually paying my rate.
Also, younger guys tend to be more about the finish than the connection, so they will often be the ones asking for half hours or even 15 minute sessions not only because they are less expensive, but because they don't plan on being with you for very long.
So, since I don't go to apartments or condos or do half hour sessions, my clientele is usually in their 40s and 50s. I never ask guys their age... I just automatically filter out younger guys with my requirements.
On the other hand, I do have a regular who is 23! He lives in a house and has a good job. I don't mind seeing him even though he's really young. It's kind of weird, but I like him.
