will want to read a few pages here on the Newbie Board.  You should notice some of the questions/topics will repeat every few days.  Learn to use the search feature and you will be able to find many of the answers to your questions yourself.  

If you need help, please don't be shy and ask your question.  Most of the experienced guys and gals that frequent this board are very helpful.

and they're the ones who have your best interests in mind. As the previous two posters said, read and read and read some more. Most of the questions you'll probably ask are in the newbie manual and on the last several pages (including this one). Research and be wiser for it.

Ignore the cats, trolls and asses; you'll get a lot of them even on the most innocent question.

Listen to your instincts while you're at it.
