How long does it take for the ad to show up??

Maybe an hour during busy times.   Posts from newbies are moderated to give TER a chance to check things out and make sure they meet their specifications.

 
Now, if it's been over an hour, and the ad isn't up, go to MY TER and then to the Other drop down menu and click on My Posts.   If it was rejected, it will say so and why.

 
Did you read the  Instruction Manual for TER about posting ads?   There a bit to it, and if you didn't do things right, then TER will not publish the ad.

I didn't put my webpage link on it so I had to fix it! Thanks for helping! It's always fun to explore a new site!

Now it says I didn't put the visiting dates in my ad, but I did!! I'm so lost here...

...you are touring (or just going to the next city over for a few days) and you post on that cities TER regional ad board you have to put the dates of your time there in the Subject Line of the post.
