Again, I hope I'm not going overboard with my posts, but you've all reassured me that that's what the newbie board is for so, here's my next set of rookie questions (all pertaining to website stuff):

I've mentioned before that I want to be low-volume and UTR so as to protect my identity, which means that my copious amounts of tattoos will need to be edited from my photos. Since that also means I'll need to put a disclaimer regarding my ink, where do y'all suggest I put that? Should I put it in one place or mention it several times on various pages in order to avoid any potential feelings of misrepresentation?

Second, I've seen several provider sites with "members only" sections. How does that work? How do clients gain access to it? What sort of content goes in there?

Third, should I get a new TER username that matches my "working" name? I just worry that I won't be easily found if they don't match.

Lastly, how do I let potential clients know what my menu contains? It seems to me that anything other than incall/outcall and GFE should be listed on the main site because of legality issues. Am I wrong about that?

Hopefully I'm not forgetting anything (though, as you all have come to know, I'm a question machine ). Thank you all again! I am so grateful to have found such an awesome community!

Put the disclamer on your photo page and your contact page.

Don't worry about your alias/username.  Once you get everything in place, you can add your website link to any ads you may choose to post on TER.  After you get your first TER review you can have your username linked to your profile (which has your provider name and website listed).

As far as your menu - your TER profile will have some of your menu so check to make sure its correct when it gets approved.  Your first review sets your profile so keep an eye out for it and make corrections if necessary.  

You can also list your menu on P411 once you are allowed to join the verification service.

I like it a lot, and I think you should work under it as well as use it for your TER board handle.

It is original and sexy and a bit humorous at the same time.

Guys appreciate a good sense of humor.

On the question of "members only", a few gals use this site for one or two purposes.

The site contains more X rated photos, generally and/or face revealing photos.  Some gals let guys whom they have already seen, or who have made dates to see on to this page and it's sort of a marketing thing to tie your clients to you a bit more closely.  This is particularly effective if you rotate in new photos from time to time.

Other gals charge a few bucks per month for membership to see the photos, so it brings in a bit more cash as well as serves the marketing ploy, but obviously some guys will chafe at being asked to pay to see photos, so that is a double edge sword.

I'm not that swayed that much by such things one way or the other.

1. If you're going to have your own website (as opposed to an ad on backpage), I would mention it on both the picture pages and on the Schedule an Appointment page. I would just use something like an asterisk along with the disclaimer somewhere easily visible on those pages.  (Example: *Please note that some body tattoos have been edited out of these images in order to protect my identity).

2. My understanding is that many of the template-based sites just come with these by default and not many providers actually utilize them. Those that do, though, usually contain much more graphic photos (close-ups of your genitals, actually having sex, etc). We would either need to pay to have access to this section or you would grant it to clients you have seen.

3. Consistency will only help you in this situation. I would recommend it.

4. The safest route is to not mention anything at all about your menu. I'm always surprised to see providers websites that explicitly state what they do. I think the best thing a provider can do is to say something along the lines of "You will be in good hands and I promise to take very special care of you. I will not let you down!" When I see something like that I assume that is their way of saying they offer a full service menu (pretty much everything but Greek). As you build a list of clients and get reviews on the record, guys will be able to see what you do and dont offer just by reading the reviews. So for now the most important thing is getting some TER clients and getting some reviews!

You can mention that you have body art, that has been removed from your photos for discretion, on the photo page, and also in your description page.

The TER username vs provider name is not a big issue. You can change your username if you want to, for consistancy, but it is not necessary. Many ladies have board usernames that are different from their provider names. A good example is Lina Pavlova who posts on the boards as dddbabe. She actually has a post on this board which is still on the first page, that even explains why she keeps the names seperate.

Member only sections of provider websites usually contain more graphic pictures and require folks ot pay for access.

As far as your menu, you shouldn't mention it on your website. The first few guys are just going to have to take a chance with you or TOFTT, but once you get a review here, the menu will be on your profile, and as sphinx mentions the first reviewer will set the profile, but at that point you can correct it via a problem report or "contact us"

Make sure it's very clear that you are tatted and that they should expect that.  That's all you need to say.

Members only sections generally are either more explicit shots (totally nude, or perhaps something that might show your face).  However, I would be very careful as to whatever you put on there.  Even though it's members-only, it's not hard to save the pics or otherwise get screenshots so they can be shared with others.

As far as a TER name...I honestly think that's a minor concern.  Your TER name can be linked to your reviews, so who cares?  As long as your name isn't "10inchcock," you're probably fine.

As far as the menu...it's cheesy as shit to list it.  Just say GFE and get a few reviews.  That will sort itself out.

In this hobby, we allow for a certain amount of marketing magic, so to speak.

For example, I have seen one favorite for about ten years who is still 18 years old!  (Really needs to be an article in JAMA about that!)

My business mentor use to tell me that 1/2 the people in this world are no good at anything, 40% are good at one thing, and 10% are good at more than one thing.*

So, if you're a good provider, the odds are you won't be good at things like website design anyways.

Contact gals with a website you like and ask them if someone did it up for them, and find out who it was and hire them.

*The point my mentor was making was that if you ever meet a good bullshitter, the odds are that he's no good at anything else.

Well, to be fair, I plan to only work as a provider until I'm finished with grad school. State university tuition is a bitch.

Keep in mind that there are many ways to capture/save photos. Even if you use "right click disabled", or other methods, the screen grab is always a possibility. Source code is also easy to read from a web page.

On another note, if you would like help with the actual photo edits or just advice, hit me up. It's my line of work and I'd be glad to lend a hand.

You already have a problem with unique tatts.  Any mention of college only adds another clue pointing where to look for you.  As it is, you are leaving lots of information leading right to here if you keep badcollegegirl.  Since there are already many bad college girls on the web, scanning on badcollegegirl won't be a direct link to here.  Never the less, there is a track already ending here.

What is your disclaimer going to say?  The pictures don't really show me as I am because they are docotred to concel my easily identifiable tatts.

How is one to know that the tatts you won't show are rather sinister ones?  Jail house tatts? "Skin-Head" type tatts? Monkey on your back jamming a hypo into you?

In the Phoenix area there are endless computer generated phising scams in the Casual section on Craigslist.  It is rumored though one can weed out most of the bogus adds and occasionally find UTRs.  Also in the Phoenix area the w4M backpage adds seem to mimic the escort adds.

If you are working on a Masters degree I'm guessing you have one quarter of your credits finished now.  18 months to go. If your Masters is in social sciences, or hard sciences even a misdemeaner escort charge blows your C. V. to hell.  If you are a PhD candidate..........WORSE!!!

At this point, maybe you should be asking yourself if you are cleaver enough to follow this path without having to suffer any consiquences?
