2 things to do.  Read the self help center, it will help get you started.  Second, introduce yourself on your local regional board.  After reading the self help center, if you have questions, come back here to ask.

Reading back several pages here on the newbie board can help answer many questions you may have about getting started on TER. Most questions have already been asked and answered, feel free to ask for help with anything that's giving you trouble.
