I'm not given to paranoia, but I'm beginning to think that the provider, who's in her early 20's, doesn't want to see a 60+ year-old guy. She could easily stall or just stop the screening by either outfit and the hobbyist wouldn't be the wiser.
I've provided more than enough information to both companies. I've looked again at their screening requirements and, between the additional phone and address data and the agency referral, I think I've gone beyond what they really need. My "regular" provider is one of the few real 9.5/9.5 to 10/10's in the area. All it took with her was a phone call from her screener and a copy of my DL. Much as I'd like to see this other provider, I guess I'll have to find one who either doesn't use these services or, if I"m not being paranoid, doesn't mind old guys.In the past year, I've seen two providers. One was from an agency, and the other is independent. The independent I've seen several times.
There's another provider in the same big city I'd like to see. She uses Date-Check, RS2K and 411 for screening. She won't see anyone without him passing one of those screening outfits, or without a referral from another provider.
The agency has said it would give a reference. The independent provider I don't want to ask, for a whole bunch of reasons too boring to get into here.
Date-Check wanted a copy of my driver's license. They also wanted to see my phone number listed in an online directory. As I'm self employed, they wanted the name of my corporation, the state it's registered in, and the state's corporate ID number. They wanted to see a business number where I could be contacted. They wanted a lot.
I gave them the DL. I have a very common name which doesn't show up in online phone directories or gets lost in all of the same names (I'm new to the area), but a reverse address or phone number search on a directory brings up my name, phone and address. I gave them the corporate name and state ID. I gave them a Whois link showing my name, phone and address as the registrant of my company's website. I gave them cell phone (same as business phone) and home phone. That wasn't enough, and they said I didn't pass their screening.
I also signed up with RS2K. They wanted less information, but have been just as difficult. I gave them name, address, phone, business phone and cell phone. Nobody ever called. The provider said the cell phone number I gave her doesn't match what RS2K has. Finally tonight I gave her and RS2K the URL for my cell phone provider (big name company) along with my username and password for my account. They can log in and see the cell phone number, my name, and address.
I gave both Date-Check and RS2K the web address and phone number of the agency I used last year. The agency still has my name and cell phone, and said they'd vouch for me.
I can't remember the last time I had to give anyone so much information except when I refinanced my mortgage.
Does anyone here see a problem with what I've provided?
of information. If you refuse to ask the gal you see for a reference, maybe you should just hunt up a few "newbie friendly" gals, have some fun with them and ask them to give you a reference.
Up until recently, I was a P411 member, I don't remember having that much trouble getting approved.
Sometimes it seems that with all the information we have to give if it's not becoming more dangerous for us to hobby than the ladies. If one of these organizations ever got hacked or decided to work with LE there could be LOTS of problems.
Glad I am single.
Good luck
I can't speak on what those sites require for membership from a gent's perspective.
But,IMO giving someone access to your personal cell phone account is just a little bit much IMO.
You have to do what you are comfortable with.Give out as much as info you are comfortable with.
If that is not enough for the providers you are choosing you ill have to make a decision to provide more info or move on.
I know myself personally as an independent provider I do not accept agencies as references except for one in my city but other than that one I don't accept references from them.
Maybe the one reference was not good enough for membership I don't know the reason why they denied you do to your employment info you provided.
But,being a new member of those sites or trying to be a new member of both of those sites and not having providers to refer you can sometimes be difficult. Some gents have no issues and some do.
I would ask date-check if there is anything you can do or send to them to be verified.
IMO,RS2K is useful in chicago if you don't live there or travel to that city often I wouldn't even bother signing up.As it seems in other cities that site is not widely used.
Have you tried P411?
jaydalee, I already spent money on Date-Check and RS2K. I don't want to lay out even more to 411 only to be turned down by them.
Being self-employed has always been a problem for everything requiring verification.
I can't imagine what more information I could provide, other than maybe an FBI fingerprint card. I've been fingerprinted many times for background checks. Maybe they could offer the Bureau free girls in exchange for running the fingerprints.
The one agency reference and my phone number was enough for a well-known provider in the largest metro area near me. Why 10 times the amount of information isn't enough for this one is beyond me.
I guess I'll just keep going back to the same provider.
Why not ask the provider you have been seeing to send you a referral to date-check?I think it is a 3month free trial.
You wouldn't have to go through all of what you went through.
Unfortunately everyone is different what might work for one provider might not necessarily work for another provider.Sorry you are having so much trouble with the verification sites I can certainly understand you not wanting to pay anymore money.I would think if you weren't approved for membership they would not keep your money but maybe that is their policy?
I have seen more than a few gents who are self-employed and was able to verify them with no problems but again everyone is different.Hopefully, you can find a provider who can work with the info you can provide
Also p411 gives you 6 months free if you get referred. I would ask the regular girl to refer you if she is part of p411 then all you need is to see a newbie friendly girl (as on regional ter board) and have her refer you as well. You need 2 referrals or maybe one would be enough with the other info you are able to provide.
Hey so last night I went to sign up with p411 and they said I need two referrals correct I was just wondering if I'm getting this right so I meet up with minimum 2 guys that are p411 members and have them contact p411 with my email address to give them my "ok" and once I have 2 referrals I need to submit my membership to p411 with there email sorry I feel like this is a dumb question but I want to do all this the right way the first time so I can get started
Xoxo kayden
I first applied to P411 without any referrals and gave them all the information they asked for including links to my reviews. At that time I did not have enough reviews but as soon as I had a session with a P411 client he offered to invite me. I gave him the email address I used when I first applied and bam in a day or so I was in.
I only need one referral with all the other info I gave. Good luc
I had a bit of a special circumstance as well. I actually started with their online application, but got stuck, because there was some information I couldn't give. So I called them. I was surprised at how quickly they responded. We were able to work it out, and they accepted me.
Call from your home phone number, and have a copy of your phone bill. If I remember right they will also want a copy of your drivers license. I scanned this in and emailed it to them. That should be enough for them to verify who you are. The next thing they want it to verify your employment. I would think the information about your corporation would be enough. (Especially if you have a website that they can visit.) They may also be able to take a reference from the agency.
They shouldn't charge you until your are accepted. Also I was really nervous about supplying all this information, but it seems to have worked out without any issues.

Truth is, it could be something, or nothing, or everything to do with...anything!!
It does seem that you have gone over and beyond to get verified...why it has not gone through is anyones guess..none of us really are in the seat to have direct involvement to your specific process, so all we can do is speculate.
Heck, there are some great ladies who have a hard time getting verified to get listed on those verification sites, why one gets through and another doesnt is just one of those baffling things. But def, dont take it personally and assume its your age or anything else...now if you were say...20yo then yeah, you might be onto something LOL but at 60+ I cant imagine that being a major deal-breaker.
I do hope though that if you werent approved, then like another says, you at least get your money back. I too would suggest Date Check over RS2K only because DateCheck in national and RS2K is pretty specifically popular in the Chicago area.
Best of luck to you
DateCheck turned me down. I kept giving them information (far more than I even gave to RS2K), and they kept sending automated emails asking for information I'd already provided. I finally received an automated email saying I hadn't provided the information requested, and so my application was denied.
I've been approved by three providers already through their own screeners. Why these two outfits can't reach the same conclusion, I don't know.
just would lead me to pause and would probably scare me away. I'm sorry but something's just not right with that.
I haven't mentioned to the screeners that there's a provider who I won't ask. I have some good reasons for not having them contact her. One is that she does not return phone calls or emails. It's frustrating, but I suspect that not getting a response from her would make the screening outfit more suspicious than if they didn't know about her.
The other reasons are personal. I'll be seeing her again in three weeks, so it's not that she's blackballed me or anything like that.
Cleared by Preferred 411 in less than three hours, with far less information than the other two places asked for.
I don't get it.
Every hobbiest is different. Every provider is different. Some blab way too much, some prefer to remain UTR and not give out references. His decision not to use her as a reference can be for any number of legitimate reasons.
I haven't given a reference in years. Its one of the great things of being a member of TER and/or DC. You just give the lass your handles and she can then go 'oh, he saw Suzy! Let me give her a call and make sure he's cool!' with zero hassle for me.
