What does it mean? Is that just as good as a reference? Or same little confused because when I check a reference I sometimes get an idea of what the guy might be like so is it best to do both?

I hope this helps, I recently read it and it helped me learn more about WL.

Personally, I feel safer using my own methods of screening & place very little weight to WL history or lack of WL history. Mostly because I've found so much inconsistency in how people use them. I still request references from the ladies he has provided me with, even if there is a WL from her. I do glance at it, & it is sometimes helpful in corroborating other info he has already given me.

But there are so many variables that are factors into the integrity of them. Also many factors could be in play of why he has none. Which may or may not be negative.

I learned to not assume anything. Verify verify verify

Just my opinion, not fact. Don't place weight on my opinion alone. Just my viewpoint from my experiences so far.

I myself would like to hear other opinions as well. I'm fairly new myself and feel like absolute newbie on occasion

..."Search."  Click "Search White List" in dropdown menu.  Enter reviewer's name in box and click "Search."

BUT you have to make sure that the reviews and white listings belong to the person. Sometimes somebody will pretend to be somebody else.

Ways you can make sure the person contacting you is actually the person who has reviews and/or white listings are:

1.  Go to search, search reviewer's, enter the email address that the potential client contacted you from
2.  Get a p.m. (Private message/mail) from the potential client here on TEr while he is logged in under the handle associated with the reviews and/or white listings
3.  If he says he's not a VIP member then he can log in and take a screenshot of his page of reviews. Make sure you can see where it says, "my reviews", so you know it belongs to him.  If he doesn't know how to take a screenshot he can Google how to take a screenshot with my --- phone or my ---- computer. Then he can email or text the screenshot to you.
