I am not an RS-2000 fan.  I think they ask too many questions and retain too much information about you, which makes me feel uncomfortable.

There is an alternative called Date-Check.  The big difference is that they require minimal information, and the verifications are done by providers you have seen.  Interestingly, they have a large concentratoin in the Chicago area as well.  It's all very new, but worth a look.  I joined and have used them 3 times with no problem.
