You can get a LIMITED VIP from TER if you get your first review posted in which case you'll have a TER profile. Once you get a TER profile, contact TER and ask them to link your profile to your handle.  

There's chat room but I haven't used it much so I don't know much about it. Message boards should be good enough if you simply want to interact and particpiate on discussions. There's always some exciting drama going on on the General Discussions board lol  It helps to have your TER profile linked to your handle so that guys (or girls) can easily see your profile.  

If you just want to advertise, use the regional "ad boards", the link is located on the menu where you see "TER General boards , Reegional boards, Ad Boards,  Top 10 Posters, More"  

But make sure you have a TER logo on your site and don't post more frequently than every week on the ad board. There's a self-help link. It explains how to do all that and the rules you need to follow.

Post on your regional board, so they can get a feel for your personality.  If you have a personal website or an ad on an escort ad site like Backpage, you can post an ad once every 7 days on your regional ad board.

As mentioned, the chat room here is not too widely used, but yahoo IM is popular if you have a yahoo email addy.
