I'm new to this and I did read through all the newbie faqs beforehand, but I did not see this addressed. I'm a young student (24) and currently unemployed. All the information I could find on the vetting process said that providers will ask for your employer info. Is there anything other than work info (since I have none) that I can give them to reassure them that I am legitimate? I have a school ID but somehow I suspect that will not be enough. On a related note, do many providers have minimum age reqs, and if so, what is typical?

I don't know if it's the economy causing ladies to drop this aspect of their 'rules' (there is also a chance that my interest in women has changed) but I only see the age requirement in about 1/10th of the women whose profiles/websites I look at compared to about 3 years ago.
As for the mature woman issue... to each his own. The younger providers (20-somethings, not necessarily 30-somethings) are still able to teach. It's all about finding someone that will be a good match. I can attest that P411 will verify you without employment info and you can chat with them on their page about what else they will accept. This verification will cost you and not guarantee that the lady will still want more. That being said, you can know right away newbie friendly ladies and the chances of finding one that will accept it alone are good. I think you can work the same with the other two but I do not have first hand knowledge.
You can also contact ladies directly and see if they will verify you other ways some will. Also some ladies do not use any visible form of verification at all ( not that they don't check you out) but no questions are asked during first contact. About the verification issue, there are ways around it, but you have to deal with the specific verification agencies to know the exact details. Again, these verification agencies are for grown men who are employed--it cost money to be verified (most sites will charge you for verification)
My advice: if you already thought about this hobby, and your past experiences was make-out sessions, then take it to the next level besides base 2, go for base 3, then eventually to base 4 with your girlfriends. As far as continuing with civvies, I've tried, trust me. Make-out sessions was a little misleading, as I've gotten as far as 3rd base a few times. One time a girl was literally on top of me about to stick it in (at a party) and the parents of the girl that was holding the party walked in (it was their bedroom, apparently). I started when I was 19 or 20 and had no problems. Here are some options:
1. Try using an agency but since this is your first time, it is not your best option.
2. See if a verification agency like P411 or RS2000 will work with you. Explain to them your situation and maybe they can verify thru your schools student directory by calling the number listed under your name or sending a discreet email to your student email address and you can respond to it.
3. Get a VIP membership and choose a handful of well reviewed providers and email them one at a time explaining your situation. I guarantee at least one will be willing to verify you with your school info like I stated in number 2.
