I have my own website - and I got the designer to add the TER label because I understand that you have to do that to be approved.

I have been advertising on other boards in NJ and PA and have reviews there

So how do I get a provider status here?  I joined as a basic member.

Thanks,
Sarah

But if you are talking about having a profile, that requires that you get at least one review.

When that is done, you can then ask Administration to link your profile to each time you post.  In addition to clients getting to find your profile easily, that will also allow you to have limited VIP status which allows you to use the PM system and to read your own reviews.

This and a lot more is all explained in the Newbie/Self help Manual that is linked on this page.  It is very worthwhile to read and absorb this document carefully to use TER to your full advantage.

Best wishes.

you have the same status as any other member who just joined.  When you get your first review, then you will be known as a provider, as your first review will establish your profile as a provider.  That's when you ask admin to link your review(s) to your handle.  You can also request limited VIP membership, which will allow you to read the juicy details of your reviews.  If you want to read those of others, you will have to pay for full VIP.

What you have done on other boards means nothing here.  Be sure your web designer makes the TER badge on your site a link to TER, and not just a banner.  The best advice mrfisher gave you was to read the self help center, paying close attention the sections pertaining to providers.
