I know it is hard starting out.  Given the illegal nature of MY hobby, YOUR potential business, it is understandable that you aren't finding many how-to guides.

Here is the some of the best advice TER has to offer - http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=33133&boardID=33.  Ciarahasfun is one of TER's most prolific posters, and a very successful escort.  Unfortunately, all of what you need to know can't be discussed on an open board - hey, you're not a cop, right?!?  (LOL)

Do you have a website yet?  Rare-escort and Escortsite have fairly easy to use free templates for creating sites.  They are a bit cookie-cutterish, but a lot of gals use them successfully.

If you want clients, you have to advertise!!!  Have you let the guys know that you are available on your local board?  No!!!  See the dropdown list in the left margin where it says "REGIONAL BOARDS", click it, and select the city where live and post an ad.  You can post an ad once every 7 days.

Working as an escort is WORK!!!  If you put in the effort, you will likely succeed!

I will get the vip membership soon. What's step one? How can someone vouch for me?  Is anyone willing to be the first after I get some pics and things set up?  Maybe someone who is trying out the hobby for the first time.  Maybe we can get our feet wet together

Welcome Wagon has good info.  I suggest you read everything you can first.  Once you have a review here, TER will give you "limited VIP"...  link your name to your reviews.  You can see your own but not others details.  You might want to buy VIP for a month, just to see what others do, but after that stay with provider level.

I like the definitions on escorts.com: just free join to read.  Local guys around here know it's an advertizing site & reviews not to be trusted.

A web site is a big step in the right direction.  No reason to pay big bucks for anything while starting out.  A template is fine.  Then you can refer potential clients to the site to get their questions answered.

Do read the local board...  get an idea of how it's done.  You can only put an ad 1 every week.  Participating on boards...  Newbie, & local especially will get you better known so TER guys will be inclined to meet you.  There are a lot of guys who are not TER members so other ads are a must.  If you look at reviews, click on the e-addresses & see where their ads are.

I think the biggest problem is getting the ice cracked by having someone "take one for the team", as the saying goes, and see an unreviewed provider.

To that end, I suggest that you particpate on the boards here at TER, especially your local board as well as the General Discussion Board and even this one.  The Erotic Highway is another good board to look into.

I personally have met several nice providers with no or limited reviews this way based on their personality that they reveal through these back and forth chats.

Welcome!

I would suggest putting a website together. That way you could display your pictures, rates, a bio/stats and how someone can get in touch with you.

Now being I'm a provider that chooses to blur/crop my pictures everywhere that I advertise, I am also a member of Preferred 411, Date-Check and Room Service 2000. These sites have done their homework on me by making sure I am indeed the real deal.

Also, it places a gentleman at ease since you don't have any reviews but one of the verification services did CHECK you out.

This method should open some doors for you and
stay active on the regional and newbie boards.
