As a dancer, your clubs might have asked you for or provided you with professional shots for their ads or "bulletin boards." So, you might have some experience with pro photogs.

You can also use the "search" button to search "photographer" or "photog" or "photo shoot" and similar phrases. You can also search "Aldo" (who is a photographer whose name often comes up in the photographer threads: some people love him, some don't). If you still have questions, post them here.

Those topics sometimes come up on the General board, so search there, too. And COVID changes a lot of things. Pre-COVID advice might need modification to make it Post-COVID relevant. Several professional glamour photogs and erotic photogs used to travel around the country; COVID has likely cut down on travel and touring.

Yes, you can use TER very effectively to get yourself "out there".
Do so by posting interesting subjects on your local board, and the general board, or other boards that may be relevant to your interests, such as BDSM, massage, etc. Also, take part in the more interesting discussions, and avoid the arguments, if you can.
Also take advantage of the photo board to put up some good photos. Don't cheap out and do selfies. Find a photog who is good and will get you favorably noticed. I personally have met several gals who first came to my interest via the photo board.
Another thing you will want to do is get your own website that is stocked with good photos and is easy for people to use. Spend some time looking at other gals' websites and see what works and what doesn't.
In time, you should get some notice from TER members who will see you and eventually write you reviews, and then things ought to start working out, especially if the COVID lockdown is over with.
Long story short, getting into the escort biz is not a slam dunk easy thing to do. It takes time and hard work, but many gals profit greatly from it and seem to love it, given by how many years they've stuck with it. It is not for everyone, however.
