So i signed up for p411 and am approved with just basic no OKs. Sent a request through p411 and got no response, sent another request a week later to different provider and am still waiting on a response both have newbie friendly as willing to see part. So here are my questions.

1) Is no response to p411 request fairly common?
2) How long would be an appropriate time to wait before trying to book the same time with another provider?
3) Does newbie friendly mean p411 with no OKs or am I miss understanding what it means?

You should look for a response within 48 hours and you can report to p411 (Gina) that you aren't getting one but I would not do that unless you get ignored a couple of times by the same provider ... I had a guy who asked for appt but didnt know there was p411 email so he thought I didn't respond ... We are human and not perfect .. After a couple of days send another email and request ... Follow it up with personal email ... And of all else fails call me lol  

Yes newbie friendly means 0 okays but you may still need to provide other inf

Are you following any instructions they have for contacting them?

You could try sending them a Private Message on P411.  I had one provider that never responded to my appointment requests or looked at my profile, but responded very quickly to a private message.  Plus, you can tell if they have read your message or not.  That was the only one of only two times a provider did not respond to an appointment request.  The other looked at my profile, but never did... so I moved on.

For the one provider that didn't respond to two of my requests but did to my PM, I tried about a month apart.  I just moved on to asking someone else in the mean time

I had the same problem. Requested an appt through P411 but got no reply. So I just emailed her and got an instant reply and it was game on! Seen her twice now. Email seems to work the best for initial contact in my sitch.
