A week later I tried again. I clicked the REPLY function via her Backpage ad, and typed the following:
"Hi I'm (name) from (town, state). I would like to make an appointment to see you. I will have a window of opportunity to be in your town from (date) to (date). I was wondering if you might have time then?"
I provided my cell phone number and the best time to call back.
I don't hear from her.
I figured I must have screwed up somehow. So I shrug my shoulders and give up.
I return to this site one month later, and I find she's still providing services. I figure I want to give her one more try. But before I do, I want to make sure that I cover all my bases and do things right. I've never hired the services of an independent provider before, and the only way to hire this particular one is via cell phone.
If I were to try her again, how would I go about it? Should I follow those 5 steps outlined above, or is there some other protocol for arranging services via the phone? And since I didn't hear back from her either via phone or email, is it safe to assume that she's not interested?
