If you are asking about VIP, you need to get 2 reviews approved to start (not necessarily at the same time). After the 2, the reviews get credited one at a time. I suggest you choose well reviewed providers because it's safer for newbies... and you'll need VIP to really complete your research. Also, a newbie reviewing a new provider is less likely to be approved... it might be held until there are more reviews to verify her. (First / first reviews have low credibility & are often suspected to be fake.)
TER, you will receive 30 days VIP credit. It will allow you to read the entire review, exchange private messages, use an alias to post on the boards, view a reviewer's history, view Top 10 lists and so much more.
You can go to Account Manager to verify you have received credit for the reviews you have submitted. Beginning with the third review you submit, you will receive 15 days VIP credit per review.
You can also go to the My TER tab and click on the My Reviews sub tab to check the status of the reviews you have submitted.
He needs just one more. He did not receive any VIP time for that one review until he submits another one for a provider he has seen within the past three months.
Jay, what is said above is correct, and for each review you submit you only get 15 days of VIP, not 30. BTW, you can also earn 2 VIP days for submitting an approved problem report. This requires some digging on your part, I do it most often when reading reviews and find links to ads that are no longer active.
