I'm brand new to the game and learning as I go. To start out on my quest I began by posting on boards like TER, getting advice from some very brilliant Providers, and setting up my own website.
I tried posting services on some regional boards and got booted off because the TER banner wasn't on the 1st few pages of the site. That's OK, I finally figured how to correctly do that, well so I thought. My Regional post was OK-ed by 1 state board but not another?! So confused. The monitor wrote a note stating that my ad didn't meet TER guidelines... But it meet them on another regional board?! My question is why can't I get a response back like: 'Your post wasn't accepted because of XYZ, this is how you fix it' instead of 'Your post isn't following the TER guidelines'. I tried posting before and made changes so I'm trying to correct it, why can't I just get told what's wrong?
I would post my ad here but I'm afraid that my post wouldn't show up because of it. Just wanted to know if anyone else is having that issue. Also yes, I have PM'ed the monitor just waiting on response. B_Crystal
To post an ad, the TER banner as a link should be on the first or second page of your personal website. You can only post ads on your regional ad board. If you are touring and want to post an ad on another regional board, the dates of your visit must be in the subject line of your post. If it's your home regional board, that is not necessary. That's the difference.
When we disapprove ads, the reasons are set replies, we can't ad lib, we have to choose the closest one to why your ad is denied.

First for not having a TER logo/banner on your site. Then you were denied for not having visiting dates in the subject line of your ads. Now that you are in compliance, your ad went up. It's easy once you get the hang of it.
has several major cities (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville) that are hundreds of miles apart. A guy in Tampa is not likely to visit a lady touring Miami or Jacksonville, regardless of how hot she might be.
