I have made my first appointment with a provider for a few weeks from now, while I will be on vacation in Las Vegas. We have already emailed and spoke on the phone, and everything is set. But I just read about Donations posted on providers review pages a few threads back. I never asked about price in either my emails or phone call, and she doesn't really have a true website with rates listed. I didn't know at the time that the rates on the review could be outdated. Is it ok for me now to email her and ask her about her rates. I would not mind paying more, I didn't choose her based on price. I just don't want to mess up things with her now. I know that discussing rates can be a touchy subject.
Contact her and tell her basically what you stated. You wanted to make sure you were clear on what her rates for companionship were, since that's what you're paying for...companionship.
Just email her asking to confirm her rates...as a newbie you best know that it is bad ettiquette to count out the money in front of her...have it ready in an envelope to put on a table in clear sight when you meet her...that's it and there is no discussion unless you have already 'consumated the deal' and then you and her agree on more time together...at that point, she can trust you are not LE...or at least it stands to reason.
All the advice above is right on target, but the statement you made about her not having a true website with rates listed caught my eye. I just find it alittle odd.
If your going to start your hobbying days in Las Vegas, make sure you see a well know INDEPENDANT lady, not someone from an agency. Agency reputations in Vegas are terrible, read thru any page on the local discussion board for L.V. and you'll quickly see what i mean.
If the lady your going to see is a well reviewed indy then everything should be great. If not, i would advise you to make arrangements with someone else(at least until you've gotten your feet wet, so to speak).
The lady I am seeing is very well reviewed by the members of TER, several pages of great reviews. This is one of the reasons I choose her. She just doesn't have a website of her own, more of a webpage. She is an independant, so I am not worried about being ripped off or anything. Just didn't know if I had made a major mistake. But thanks to everyone at TER, I am learning a lot about this hobby very quickly.
