I've read everything on this site (Self-Help, the Rules, etc...) and others, researching, reading and attempting to start the best business possible safely and responsibly.

Congratulations on reading everything first! While most on the newbie board, don't mind answering the same questions over and over, it is always nice when someone figures it out on their own!

You have started off in the right direction.  The next thing I would suggest you do is start posting on the Chicago board so people will get an idea of your personality.  Remember, if you have a website or an ad somewhere, you can post an ad on the regional ad board once every 7 days.  If your regional board has picture theme days, you should participate in them, which will also get yourself known.

You are starting off on the right foot...  Research first!  You will find a wealth of information on the Newbie board which applies to both Provider & Hobbiest.

Generally, you should not provide where you live.
You should use a separate business phone & email.  
You should learn about the 2 call system.
Every lady has her own methods of screening...  which should not be discussed on a public forum.  You would do well to find a Provider / Mentor who would teach you screening.
Being a provider is hard work...  and not for everyone.  There are way too many scams & scammers.   Provide what you promise & you'll do well.  
There are clients for every body type...  use real pictures.   Blur face or other distinctive caracteristics like tat's.  One more word on pictures.  Today, with digital photos, professional photographers are not needed for highest quality pictures which you need.  They should open large enough to see clearly.  Photos need not be totally explicit, but taken in total, I expect to know before arrival what you look like naked.  Photos are your callng card, take it seriously.  Tiny photos or poor quality?  I'm gone.

Thanks for the initial responses; swintrekr, bigpapan  and harborview are always on the prowl to help a newbie hob or prov @ a moments notice I've noticed!!!!!

On that note, b/c there may be a week or so delay between my 1st & 2nd review and I have a few messages I can't read b/c I'm still basic,  would it be beneficial to buy a VIP for the month to read or wait it out?

If you have even one review, you can already get the free provider limited VIP, by contacting admin and asking them to link your review profile and your username (but you already know that since you did your homework) As for purchasing VIP, there are benefitst to having full VIP, including access to much better search features. Some ladies find it invaluable. Some don't. If you do decide to get it, then it is just another cost of doing business. As far as getting it just so you can read your PMs, that would be hard to say. The PMs could be important, or could be guys trying to set up dates, or they could just be frivolous.

Welcome!  As a newish Provider myself, I found it extremely beneficial to buy the full VIP membership. It helps with screening, and also helps me prepare for clients (by seeing what they like from past reviews).  It's also hot to read a lot of them

I went VIP and yes...very hot reads and messaging a prov or hobb during the start up is so worth it.
