Green Dot on TER ....

After days of browsing the boards, I think I'm ready to take the plunge. Since I'm a total newbie that will be entering into this hobby, it seems like the best bet for providers to even consider my plight is to get a membership in to P411 and a VIP membership here. Knowing that, there are some questions that still nag me in which I hope you kind gents can give me an answer:

1.) If possible, I don't want to use my main credit card information to get a membership in TER, for obvious reasons. Getting a Green Dot card looks like my safest bet, and P411 honors it as well, however I'm confused as to whether TER does. Will Green Dot work? What are some discreet payment methods for a VIP membership here?

2.) I've noticed that P411 has no FAQ in regards to their membership cancellation. If a member decides to lay low for a while, can he cancel the yearly membership fee? In addition, does he still need to go through the verification process again should they decide to come back into the hobby?

3.) Just how discreet is P411? Since I'm a guy who has no experience under his belt, I'll obviously have to go through their screening process the hard way. However, I find that the information they need is a tad sensitive, and I feel uncomfortable giving that away. Has anybody here went through that process? Will they really shred all that personal info once you're in?

Thank you for taking the time to read this, people. I appreciate any of the helpful replies I can get.

1.  Never used a green dot, had no probs using my personal CC for TER or P411.
2.  I suspect that P411 will not offer a refund if you decide to cancel, since they don't specify a policy.  Recommend you contact them about it.
3.  P411 is pretty discrete I think.  A provider friend of mine told me that it is very highly regarded by local providers in my area.  I am a member of it as well as DateCheck.  I think these two as well as RoomService2000 are going to be discrete.  If not, they would not still be around and used as they are.  Before you join any of them, find out which is most popular in your area.  It does vary from state to state.

and DateCheck (and TER).  Re P411, another good thing is they are located in Canada, so your info is more secure from US LE.

Did not work for me due to the processors they use. I tried both methods twice and nothing worked. I ended up using a major bank card.

I don't mean a refund, my main concern is whether or not it's safe to cancel your membership "temporarily," so they'll stop charging your account when you decide to cool off for a year or two. No such policy is stated in their website, which is why I'm wondering.
