It could mean:

1] she needs language tapes
2] you're out of touch with well-known slang
3] you should search on this board for definitions of terminology
4] any combination of the above

What's with the snarky, bullshit answers like this?  It's the Newbie board for Chris'sakes.
How about answering the question, and then politely suggesting how to best find answers to the basics.

Greek is anal sex.  If the lady doesn't speak greek, she doesn't do anal sex.  Suggest you read back a few pages of this board, follow the various links, and you will have most of your newbie questions answered without having to put up with a bunch of smartass crap.  Welcome to
TER.

There is a 'Search' feature on this board.  I was a newbie once too and I never posted anything here asking about terminology.  That's because I actually searched around, and figured a few things out for myself.

Below are at least 3 recent posts asking the same question.  As of this writing there is yet ANOTHER post at the top of the board asking about terminology.

Please.  If you want to babysit people go right ahead.  Put up a post directing every newbie to ask YOU about acronyms and terminology.

I guess they say that because there must be so many hobbyists from Greece who insists speaking Greek during the session.

A scene at a local tailor shop recently:

Customer holding up a pair of trousers:  "Eumenedes?"

Tailor:  "Euripides?"

I guess they were brothers.

Instead of him putting up a post and directing Newbies to ask him directly, why don't you just ignore posts where Newbies ask for help. I don't think any Newbie gives a rats ass what a wonderful Newbie you were, they just politely ask for help and have done absolutely nothing to deserve your 'Snarky' attitude. This is a Newbie Board and everyone should feel free to ask questions without being subjected to your BS attitude. I see on the Policy Board staff didn't think much of your idea to turn this board into a facts page to calm your irritations.

Since other people have already made the points you did, you could have taken your own advice and just ignored my post.  But why do that when you can self-righteously spout off?

BTW, you might not have noticed, but the Policy Board staff doesn't think much of anyone's suggestions, no matter how sensible.  As for turning this board into a "facts page", all I suggested was one single permanent post, not a total re-vamp.  If you disagree with me, fine, but don't distort my statements.
