Any opinions on the 100% failsafe method to eliminate computer search history.  I currently use CC cleaner but would be interested to hear if any products out there are better.

Google Chrome has something called "Incognito Window" which I always use. The nice thing about it is it stores minimal information on your computer to begin with but it also cleans up after itself when you exit - no cached pages, cookies, browing history, nada. Works very well for those times when you've had too much to drink and can't remember to cover all your tracks.

get a macintosh. not only will you be free from spyware and viruses, you won't have to worry about images being "cached" in the windows viewer.

Chrome is good, and Mozilla Firefox and Safari have "private" modes that don't leave a trace of anything.

Just make sure you close the browser when you're done!
