1 TER Review - provider not law enf???

I'm looking at a particular provider in my area.  She advertises on BP and a couple other sites.  I think she is legit, but my biggest concern as a newbie is that she is undercover LE.

This provider only has 1 review on TER from not quite a year ago.  She was working in my area when the reviewed "event" occurred.  Her review is outstanding and he recommends her highly.  The guy who posted the TER review has reviewed a little over other 50 providers starting before 2005, and his reviews are not all the same / not all cut and paste of the same thing.  His reviews for some other providers (other than the 1 I'm thinking about) only have 1 review (his review), but most of his reviews are of providers who have multiple reviews.

I should add that her reviewer is Whitelisted by 2 different providers (2 people other than her).

Is it pretty same to assume that even though the provider I'm considering only has 1 TER review, that she is legit and not LE?

Hello J;
As a self described newbie you seem to be using the correct head to evaluate things. You know the places the woman seems to be advertising. You have paid proper attention to her one review, ie you looked at the reviewer's history etc. If you haven't already done so I would suggest also googling her phone number if it's provided and running any photos thru a search engine like Tineye. I would probably advise a newbie who is in a large metro area to consider other providers with a more extensive number of reviews. In a smaller community there is often much fewer to choose from. I don't know where you are so obviously you'll have to make that call.
One last thought....if the woman is fairly new in the industry it can often take some time to build a review portfolio. This is highly variable and I know some woman who tell me it took them a couple of years to get a handful of reviews and others who have that many in a couple of months. I believe this is a function of several things. Some women really attempt to persuade guys to write reviews while others do not. Some communities appear to have a higher percentage of review writers than others. And the type of clientele she caters to may also help determine the number of reviews she gets.
Good luck in making your decision and let us know how it turns out. Regards.....RR

as a newbie to stick to well-reviewed providers until you have some experience.  Only one review does not mean she is undercover LE, but even veterans would be hesitant to see this one.  The fact that her only review is almost a year ago would give me cause to pause.  Her reviewer seems to be legit from what you describe, so have you tried to contact him thru TER?  That might be a good idea to try and get some additional info on the lady.

I would agree with previous poster about doing the research on her, pics, phone, etc.  Does she have a website?  One last thing, if you haven't already done so, read the self help center ASAP.

Good luck,
Swim

Thanks Rio and Swim

I did google her phone number.  I think I've probably researched her background as much as possible.

I used Tineye on her photos.  They only come up as being posted on her ads, nowhere else.  And the only variation in the photos was a little lightness / darkness when comparing the same photo.  I'm not even sure I'd call it a variation in the photo it was that slight.  Her pose / dress / jewlery did not change at all.

I'm in a smaller area, and I'd like to see this provider as she is hot.

I might try contacting the reviewer

You could PM the reviewer. If he's a regular reviewer and has recent recent reviews then his reply probably would be a good indication that she's not LE. From my own experience, no reviews for that length of time is not an indication of LE, but it's probably an indication that she's not as great as that 1 reviewer think.

Sounds like she likely isn't LE if the guy who reviewed her has 50 other reviews.  I'd prolly see her if she's hot,  but only if I didn't have other girls to see.  (Sometimes I take one for the team seeing new girls with no reviews.  results have been mixed)

Maybe post about her on local board and ask around for more info.
Use search function first though

When I run her name / number on an internet search, they all come back to her & it is the same person and phone number.  I Googled her pics and most of them come back to her; however, there were 2 pics of her that I Googled which came back to a Portland, Oregon BP ad - I'm assuming that the Portland, OR provider stole the pics from the provider I'm considering???

The Portland, OR provider had other pics as well that I'd never seen before.  There was also a 10 year age difference between the Portland provider and the provider I'm considering.  It seems to me the provider I'm considering had a birthday the end of last year, because on some of her ads / postings her stated aged increased 1 year, and her one year age increase coincides with the dates of her ads.

One thing it took me a while to figure out was checking the reviews of the reviewer.
If you see a trend where the person reviews only women with limited reviews and gives them 9's-10's, then I'd be a bit suspect on whether the person is legit.

Whitelisting is nice, but is not the magic bullet.   I recently researched one ad, and the threads from the reviewer led to my conclusion it was a bogus reviewer, and he reviewed women that turned out to have multiple rip off warnings from other victims.

Trust the little hairs on the back of your neck.  They are there for a reason!
Good luck
