it is a pain to have to enter the background data. Don't bother entering anything different, maybe she has changed the color of her hair, because it will not change in her profile unless a problem report is filed.
Please include her TER ID in your General Details. "This is a review of Name, TER ID ######." TER creates too many duplicate reviews when they can't match up a review with an existing Profile. Sometimes they even add a review to the wrong person if they can't figure it out and there is enough common info. (How many similar Asian Coco's are there in NYC? Quite a few!)
That is something I never thought about, but I do see many duplicate profiles because of what you mentioned. I have submitted numerous problem reports for duplicate profiles. You're right, if the review gods do not realize the provider already has a profile, they will give her a new ID #, hence a second profile.
I have been doing that ever since I first saw you mention it quite some time ago. Ironically at the same time TER created a new profile for a provider I reviewed. She had a profile already and about 95 reviews. Her name was not common either. I just had to laugh. I now recommend to anyone asking about how to do reviews that they include the providers Name & TER ID# in the Gen. Details.
Long before the new TER makeover, I was asking TER to add TER ID number to the standard review form (and also "auto populate" the standard info). Instead, we got a new color scheme and some other cosmetic changes. Pfffff.
Thanks for spreading the word / suggestion to others. I wonder if I'll win a prize or something???
