Good pics don't have to be done by a professional

Just make sure your pics are in focus and lite properly.  Nothing is worse than a blurry, grainy pic with a flash reflection in the mirror.   Face shots are important too, I agree with TheCyclist, a smile is your best asset.  Make sure they are large enough for us to see.  Some pics are so tiny, I can't tell if the girl is shave or not :-)

Do guys prefer pictures from a photographer that are air brushed or regular pictures just in the moment. Just curios

I'd only want to see air brushed pics if you'd be airbrushed in person too.

how to flatter a lady.

Good lighting and a clean background really help.

A big smile is a woman most attractive feature IMHO.

I don't like x-rated, rather I prefer classy.

"air brushed" has negative overtones, but "regular pictures" are usually not very good.

A professional is an artist, and I like tell who put time and energy into her shots.

Hair, make up, wardrobe, it all adds up.

On many of the ads on the sites, I see a girl with a small cam or cell-phone cam, an obvious self-photo.

To me, that's just unpleasant.  80% effort into taking a photo, and 20% into looking pretty or happy.  I don't know, it's just a turn-off for me.  Can't you find anyone to take your picture for you?  or use a timer?

as long as your pics reflect the real you.
Professional pics are NOT always airbrushed. You have the control over that.
Face pics are not needed, although they are wanted. Where it comes to your comfort level its up to what you feel comfy with. You have to weigh what the chances of full disclosure are.
I never show my face and have not had a problem.

I just want you to look like your picture. It's a given that your pictures will accentuate the positive and deemphasize the negative. After all the pictures are part of your marketing. But if the pictures are misleading, well that's  whole other story. The source of the pictures, professional vs amateur doesn't mean much to me.

are photos with dates on them. Like when a Provider has several folders, maybe something like May 08, Dec 08, April 09. Something to let me know the photos are recent, not 10 years old.

I've seen a couple Providers whose photos were really out of date and even if they were sweet gals, honestly I was disappointed upon arrival which I'm sure brought them down a little bit too when I didn't "respond" well as a result (I am always very respectful... talking physical response here).

Anyway, current photos with dates on them I think make for the most enjoyable experience for both parties.

apart...the difference is amazing.  You can see she's the same person, and she's attractive in both...but as the primary marketing tool, professional photos make you look more professional.  A good photographer will make you look like you--so clients aren't disappointed--while being flattering and showing your personality.

You know those candid photos of celebrities that make them look like shit? They're taken from bad angles, in bad lighting while the subject is making a weird face.  A bad photo can make a beautiful person unattractive.  A good one can make an attractive person beautiful.

Thanks for the advice, my photographer sometimes say that pics that guys like to see are the ones bending over, boobs out legs spread apart with crouch showing. I think theirs a way you can present it in a pic were it doesn't look distasteful. I know how I want to present my self on my next photo shoot.

Thanks

To me... I like a tad bit of mystery.  That way, it gives me more to look forward to.

I like to see a naked pic, from the side, or legs crossed, or from an angle that shows the chest but not the nipples.

Or, give me a front shot with open legs, but wearing a string.

Those, to me are good advertising.  It shows you what you will/can do, without showing what you have.  Yet, it gives a good enough idea of the appearance and shape.

I have to say, tho, on webcam or when meeting, a loose shirt with a low neck, and a short dress or miniskirt, those make me smile a thousand times more than a small 2-piece bikini.

But that's just me.
