I'm new to this whole escort thing and if I wanted to meet a provider at a hotel in Toronto (I'm not from Toronto), for example, what kind of hotel and what type of room should it be? I know a lot of the reviews mention women coming up to suites. If it's like a three-star hotel (not a motel, I mean a hotel with a front entrance and fitness center and pool, etc., so not some s***hole place), but it's just a single room with a king bed and a bathroom and not a suite, does that matter? Or am I making a mountain out of a molehill?

Also, I know that a lot of screeners ask for your place of employment. I'm not really employed right now-I am in law school and will finish it next May. Will providing my name and my school with a link to verify that I am actually enrolled there be enough? I can provide a driver's license copy, etc if they want.

Thanks.

the location of the hotel. You want to get a hotel in a well-traveled, respectable part of town. Blend in with the other guests, act like you belong there and be courteous to the hotel staff. As to the law student thingy, every provider is different regarding this. Contact her, explain your situation, and she'll tell you what she needs. Happy hobbying.

I get discouraged when a place is hard to find. I have said the hell with more than once because the place was hard to find. I let the provider know as well I'm not like that but shit if have a hard time finding the place with gps then it ain't so cool.

I agree when I am not able to find a place I get frustrated and leave. If provider is not using GPS don't lie about how far it is.

Most of the respectable prostitutes will get a room at a business class hotel like a Holiday Inn Express, Courtyard by Marriott or nicer.  It doesn't matter if its a double bed or suite when you are together.

In contact explain your situation, you'll find someone who can verify you to their satisfaction.

JT18, I hope you don't mind me piggybacking on your post.

When I (the hobbyist/client) book a room for an outcall date, doesn't it look suspicious to check in without luggage?

(I posted this last night in the last discussion about a hotel question, but by then the discussion was 6 days old and I suppose my question won't be seen by many there.)

aren't you going to shower, shave and put on some clean clothes?  Besides, you need a way to take in other necessities such as wine, bottled water, candles, ipod player, etc.

Act like you belong when you check in.  Confidence.

...date, though, right? Not that I would go to an incall date straight from work. But I wouldn't go to an outcall date straight from work, either.

Here in NYC, I take the subway everywhere. If I happen to have the misfortune of getting on a train that lacks A/C, that would truly suck. And then, of course, there's waiting for the train on an A/C-less platform. Hmmmm...

a towel and toiletries available for you to do a quick shower at the beginning (and end) if you want. When you come out of the shower you are not going to get dressed and then go out of the bathroom to start your incall date with her. You come out with the towel on. So no need for additional change of clothes. In your confirmation email just mention that you are coming from work and want to freshen up first thing when you arrive.

As for shaving, just get a cheap cordless and shave at work before you leave to visit her.

In my opinion it is not suspicious to check in without luggage. For all they know it can be in your car and you will retrieve it later. I do agree that  you should act like you belong there.

outcall to my hotel room.  I will shower and shave after I get to the room whether I drive to the hotel or take public transportation.

when you check in. I carry my laptop in its case and have never had a problem. Hotel clerks deal with more than a few people every day. You're not going to stand out unless you say womething like, "Gonna have me some sex with an escort."

Sometimes I have my luggage with me when I check in, other times I bring it in later. I dare a hotel employee to question me about it. If you act as if you belong noone will ever question you. If a hotel employee ever dared to interrogate me over my baggage or lack thereof I guarantee you it would be his last day on the job.

When I travel for work on legitimate purposes I regularly check in without my luggage.  My car is parked out front and I check in.  After I get the room key, I park my car and go to the room.  I doubt hotel employees bat an eye on someone without luggage.

If someone drives a car (one they own or are renting) to their hotel in Manhattan, either a valet will take it from them or they'll drive to the hotel's garage, then check in.

But I remember the type of hotels (and motels) you describe from my road trip across the U.S. and part of Canada four years ago.

If you are going to check in, you should have at least an overnight bag with the necessities in it.
In most cases, the ladies do incall... where you go to their hotel.
