I know this is a really common question, and I've read a few threads relating to this, but I'm still a bit stuck as to what to do. Here's my situation:
I'm a university student who just started hobbying. I have one reference from a well-established agency, and they verified me using an online student directory and university ID (along with driver's license). I want to see a well-reviewed provider who is coming to my town, and I called her a month ago, and she said if I sent her an email with my university e-mail and gave her a reference, that would be okay. The provider is coming to town next week and I emailed her again, and this time she wants me to fill out her online form. The online form lists "office switchboard" and "employment information/website". I work in a lab on-campus, and the provider said this is unacceptable because it is unverifiable (I'm still confused as to how giving a laboratory number is unverifiable). I emailed the provider back saying, if she'd like, I can sign up for Preferred 411 and get verified with them, but she hasn't replied to my email or answered her phone.
What should I do? I don't want to bug the provider unnecessarily but I've been looking forward to her visit for months and I thought she remembered what we discussed previously on the phone.
...you've been looking forward to seeing her (ESPECIALLY since you've been looking forward to seeing her).
You said: "I thought she remembered what we discussed previously on the phone." Providers get so many phone calls and emails that they can't possibly remember every conversation.
She's probably filling up her dance card with guys that can meet her screening requirements. Be patient, another fish will be swimming by soon.
In the comments section, tell her you have already emailed her and discussed your situation so there is no more you can fill out on the form. If she insists on more, either provide it or move on.
should be exploring and enjoying the college experience and the social activities with your peers. Your college years should provide you with some great and not so great experiences with the opposite sex. I would have never provided my personal info to anyreferralservice irrespective of what they say about confidentiality , this may , one day , come back to haunt you.

Hi everyone,
I know this is a really common question, and I've read a few threads relating to this, but I'm still a bit stuck as to what to do. Here's my situation:

1) You're in college/as an undergrad or grad student but you have hobby money, so that implies you can afford to join P411 If so, join P411. If she is on P411 send her an a Pre-Screen request and that will verify you to her. 2) If she's not part of P411, then follow London's suggestion. 3) If #1 and #2 can't work move on, because there are many other possibilities for you, and if she refuses after those efforts, persisting is unlikely to change her mind, and will only further frustrate you.
No offense, but most providers don't look as hot as college co-eds. But then again, you might be into older women, MILF's, and so forth. I don't know. I would just join a frat, drinking like crazy and get laid every night! Whooooopie yaaaay
