Wanting help with what is o.k. and what's not! On the screening process it's no problem with me giving provider info (especially on their forms) but then they want to know my reference provider. I've been giving my reference providers name and TER I.D. but then it asks for her phone number. I'm not sure I should give out that number since it's not my number. Providers please help me on this dilema!!?? I don't want to loose any trust from a lady that has given me her number.
Your first is always special and it's wonderful to be the one.
I always have the gentlemen call me and give me the ladies info. I want to be sure 1. that this is not a gentlemans wife hence he calls. 2. Since I am putting myself out there I want to know the lady is legit...I check her out on TER and either call on the number listed in her profile or send an e-mail.
Always contact the provider you wish to get a reference from first...Thats called courtesy She will let you know how she wants things done. Each lady is different.
On my website in the first page is a note about references, do check it out.
I'm always very protective of my phone number (calls at inopportune times when you forget to turn off the second phone are always awkward...) and really dislike it being given out.
If a provider is a good, established, reference, she should have a website complete with an email address and, occasionally, a contact form. Why on earth would anyone NEED a phone number?
