Search the GD board  and regional boards for threads. As a hobbyist IMO, social media and the hobby, are not a good match. Others do not agree,  but opinions are like assholes ...................

You are involved in something that is against the law.  There may be websites about the hobby but that doesn't make the act of paying a woman for sex any more legal.  Do you really want to chat with the women you are paying on an open public forum? You may be discreet but other participants may not be.

I've never read an article about them with a happy ending.

They always seem to involve lawsuits, threats, intimidation, identity theft and similar antics.

Who needs it?

Facebook pages. Some of them don't even realize if they give me their REAL phone number or their REAL email address, then my smartphone will find them on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. I would never do anything with that information, but who knows how other people might use it against them.

Yeah, social media is a bad thing in the hobby world, unless you know how to hide your tracks.

If you have an account with FB, have the mobile app on your cellphone, and haven't turned GPS off, anyone who is listed on your friends list can track your exact location in real time.  

The ladies that I know that have FB accounts in general do not use this for professional purposes.  Twitter, on the other hand, has many providers that tweet using their stage name, and it's conceivable that LE follows their postings.
