ok

i'm very new to this game... in the LA area...

work insane hours, no time for dating - thought i'd enjoy this HOBBY...

but here's my problem - i have not visited a provider at all but would like to.

problem is, i am weary about providing my work info.

so since i don't have a previous provider that I can use as reference and I don't want to give my work info, not sure what my options are.

here are my questions

1. what are my options to pass the screening if
a) i have never visited a provider
b) and i don't want to give up my work info

2. am i being paranoid about not giving up my work info??

they can easily use this info against me...as part of a scam if...they have my work info, know i used a provider...extortion anyone?

3. any providers in the la area w/ reviews that are willing to meet 1st timers???

thanks in advance...

You could join services like Date Check or preffered 411.. This will help with the screening process.

Maybe it's just because i'm relatively new to this but i've yet to be screened by the 2-3 agencies i've dealt with. They just took my full name and phone number before setting up an appointment.

As far as work references go, how would I go about giving my reference if i'm currently going to university?

Im in LA and i see newbies many of us will, However your going to half to cough up whatever info they need to feel comfortable. You can pick a well reviewed provider and get tons of info about her. you can  PM other people who have seen her, read reviews and see what she offers, check out her website with pictures and info, maybe she blogs or is on twitter, has a facebook or myspace

what does she have to feel comfortable meeting a stranger who is most likely bigger and stronger then her?

you are an unproven entity and as such its not easy to see someone without giving up a considerable amount of info. yes you can join screening services but you will have to given THEM your info too.

I think the bottom line is that you have to give the information out at least once. Ladies have very valid reasons to screen and just seeing anyone one that calls is not good for them, or for you.

I did not go the agency or verification service route. I chose one lady and simply gave her all the info she needed to know that I was who I said I was, and that she had good reasons to find me safe and reliable. No information was recorded, it was just for her to see. I arranged an on-the-clock, but not intimate meeting with her to get all my newbie administrative issues out of the way. I made her comfortable with me, and we arranged a subsequent date. I have since repeated numerous times.

She was then willing to be a referral for me. That led to my seeing other ladies, who were willing as well. You get to a critical mass where job information is generally not required. Just be a good, respectful client and referrals should be no problem.

If you want further info, feel free to PM me.

Date Check and RS2000 will generally work with you on getting verified.

that can be obtained with just a name and ph number. Don't just assume the agency is not screening just because they don't ask you for your life history.
