Posting this here (newbie board) because it appears to me it would be helpful to newbies and because this is where I have seen this several times recently.

Lately when someone posts about their reviews being approved/not approved, or asking how long does it take for a review to be posted and the like. Someone has replied and said "Check your Account Manager" or similar instructions.  Why?

The latest version of TER ( "New" TER) does not have this information in the Account Manager. It is more of a statement of your account and profile info such as how many days of VIP you have. What your e-mail address is. Do you want your whitelist showing? etc. Nothing about your reviews, there approval, or related information.

While I know some still use "Classic" TER I doubt the newbies do because they would simply take the version that comes up when you enter the site address or click on whatever they found in a search.

Even in "Classic" TER going to the account manager is only the first step.( In "Classic" going to your Account Manager is like clicking on the My TER tab at the top of the page in "New" TER.) Once in your Account Manager in "Classic" you would need to click on My Reviews ( on the left) in order to get information about approval or rejection of a review and the reason.

If I have missed something please elucidate.

Not sure that's how it works for a guy, but mine just pulls up my page. I would imagine you guys can see a list of all the reviews you have, just like I can click under your name and hit the number? I always check the "My Feedback" when I post a report, and I get an email saying "You can view your feedback at xxx" link.

...you can click on Account Manager (on the upper right next to Log Out and the British flag) and it will take you to a page that has "My Reviews" on it and clicking there takes you to your reviews?

Maybe this is a difference in how it looks to providers. When I am in "New" TER ( and I am most of the time) when I click on Account Manager I do not get a page with My Reviews. I get a profile/account page. See below.

exclude from top reviewers
exclude from top posters

Subscription #
remaining vip days  

That is what I get in My Account Manager. AS you can see nothing about reviews or anything else.  
My Reviews, My Message Boards, My Referrals (which is White Lists) are all in My TER .
I am assuming this is what all the guys see when they go to Account Manager  

Note: Account Manager and My TER have links across the top for My Reviews, My Favorites, My Saved Searches, and so on.  (I've been researching even as I post this). I knew this of course but I never go to Account Manager for anything unless it's changing a password, e-mail or checking to see when I need to renew my VIP.

Ahh!  It looks like you are saying go to Account Manager when I would say go to the My TER tab. Both will get you to a place where you can then click the link to "My Reviews" (ie. The account holders reviews.) When someone says go to Account Manager to find it I think that info is "in" the Account Manager. Not that there is a link to it from the Account Manager page.  Yes, I know I can be very literal. But I've dealt with newbies all of my life in one way or another and with them it's real important to be very specific.

My Reviews, it will show a list, and if any are not approved, you should be able to look and see why it was rejected.  I'm using the new version.

First of all, you are wrong.  The new version or TER's account manager contains the same links  that the classic version does.  Now, you are right, the new version has all of those links on your cover page but you are assuming that no one is using TER classic when they ask questions about there reviews etc.  I can't speak for anyone else but I don't assume anything.  It's not just us old guys who prefer the classic version.  Since the Account Manager will take you where you need to go regardless of what version of TER you are using that is the advice that I give and will continue to give for as long as both versions of TER are available.

If I click "My Reviews" it pulls up the very profile you guys see if you click under my name in a post.

What I showed you here is what's on the page when I click Account Manager. I bet this is also on you're Account Manager page.Though as I noted above I do now see that the My Reviews link is at the top of the Account Manager page. It's one of those things I saw but didn't see because I never used the Account Manager page to access it

The more I have thought about it I decided it's a matter of specifics. Some (those I've noticed lately) will say go to Account Manager and check your reviews to see why they were unapproved.  This makes it sound like your reviews are in the Account Manager. I would say go to Account Manager, then click on the My Reviews link on the upper left and check you reviews to see why they were unapproved. This makes it clear that it isn't your reviews that are in the Account Manager but the link to your reviews.

Sorry to have taken the round about way to figure out why I wasn't understanding. I do appreciate all the replies

You can access the link "My Reviews" from the Account Manager. It is on the upper left. There you can see what if anything you need to know about your reviews being approved/unapproved and so on.  Thanks for your help.

1. I knew how to find my reviews that wasn't the question.
2. I wondered why many instructed posters to go to Account Manager to access their reviews. It was a DOH! moment for me when I kept looking for what I was missing and rediscovered (with the help of your replies) that the links to My Reviews, My Feedback etc., are at the top of the Account Manager page. I knew this but forgot because I rarely look at the Account Manager for anything.
3. I also found the instructions "Go to your Account Manager and check your reviews" confusing because the reviews aren't in Account Manager. The link to "My Reviews" is.  
Also I thought, mistakenly, the others were referring to "Classic" TER when they gave instructions to go to Account Manager since in "Classic" Account Manager is akin to the My TER tab in "New" TER.
4. I use the My TER tab at the top of the page to access the link to My Reviews.  
5. I like Bostonguy57's idea of instructing folks to go to Account Manager (since it works for both versions) and look to the left for the link to My Reviews or any other relevant links.

I thought this would be helpful to newbies and though it is somewhat convoluted I still think it will.
