So i'm new to this. So new, i haven't even seen any one yet, and i'm trying to do as much research as possible before hand. But i do have one questions, among many...

I get the rule about not naming specific acts over the phone and in communications. I get it. It can be disrespectful to the ladies, and set off red flags in other ways too. However, i have read some reviews saying that they were asked by the provider (sometimes via email) if they had any special request, so they can come prepared? And this is somewhat contrary to what i have read in the past. It sounds like you don't really mention these things in plain english, or until you're in the act. I get if you already have a 'relationship' with someone, and know each other, but what if it's your first time with a particular provider? Or your first time with ANY provider?  

Any input would be greatly appreciated! And any lesser known tips for newbs would be great too. Thanks all, have a great day.

thought is that if you wanted GFE+, meaning a trip to the islands, the lady needs to do certain prep work prior to your encounter.

Some guys want specific outfits like garters and heels etc. These things can be mentioned. Sex acts are not mentioned in communication prior to the date. So no, it is not contrary to what you read in the past.

Other tips: Read the self help center. Read back as many pages on this board as you can. Get VIP if you dont already have it.

For initial contact I include my screening info (Date check ID, Ter ID, and 2 provider refs)
I also make sure I write a brief introduction about myself; which is important so the lady gets to "know me" a little bit.
Once I pass screening and we have a date set that's when I may ask her about additional things for our date: Dos she prefer white or red wine? Can she wear certain clothing, stockings, heels etc.  
At no point do I ever mention any specific "activity" or use acronyms.
