END OF MESSAGE

In case anyone was wondering, I have not gone anywhere except to the hospital.  Somehow, I picked up a bacterial infection, cellulitis.  Only reason I am posting this is to let everyone know, I have not deserted you.  I want to thank all my highly unpaid assistants for keeping the ship afloat.  I will be back when I am feeling better.

Hobby on everyone!

but glad to hear from you again, and with my prayers that you beat that condition.

without letting us know. You even let us know when you are going to be gone for half a day golfing. :)

Take care of yourself. The board will take care of itself.

There are medical reasons (not drunk) I stumble around...  tends to take a beating on my toes.  I have done this more than once.   I try to avoid because it HURTS, banging into furnature.  It can be dangerous if the infection gets into the blood stream.

Never mind!  Sorry to hear you've been laid low and do get well soon.  We'll be happy to pick up the slack.
OK, guys, let's now start giving out completely bogus info and screwing with newbies' heads!

Hope you haven't had too bad a time in the hospital.  Hospital beds are characteristically pretty uncomfortable.  I hope you're up and running and the antibiotics get the upper hand soon.

in murky waters??? Sorry to read.. Get well soon.. David in Daytona Beach.

Hopefully, they will let me out today.  They are going to insert a PICC line so I can get IV treatments at doc's office.  There's another term for you to look up, lol.

Happy hobbying.

Make sure it's flushed carefully before and after use.  Be well.

I've had one myself for home health IVs after a massive liver abscess in 2006 I spent a week in the hospital having drained. PICC lines are quite common today and last longer than the traditional IV site. They serve multiple purpose too.. Best wishes to a quick recovery.. David...
