verifying authenticity safety and trustworthy of providers

Hi im quite new to this hobby and as well as this site, my question is, is there anyway to verify these things? Im quite paranoid of some things ive seen in movies and stuff =/ such as being ripped off or tied to the bed then have my things stolen.  Im very new to this and I have never met anyone in person before online.

Take the risk out by only seeing Indy girls with tons of reviews and make sure her reviewers have written tons of reviews themselves.

Being paranoid is the norm around here, but if you are freaked out by the possibility, and it is possible no matter how we try and minimize it, this might not be for you.

However, the scenario you fear is very, very remote if you follow my advice above.

Welcome to TER.

Start by reading the self help center.  As is told to all newbies here, at first see only those providers who have at least 10 reviews written by guys that have written many reviews.  You need VIP membership here in order to research providers properly.  You might also consider joining one or more of the verification sites.  At Preferred411, they will work with you to verify you so you do not have to give out personal information to a number of providers.

Yes, there are risks, after all this is an illegal enterprise in this country.  But if you are careful, the risks are minimal.  I'm not quite sure what you meant by 'verify these things' in your original post.
