Since it will increase your chance of contracting STD, I am just wondering what others (providers & hobbyists) think and what they would do.

Its unlikely I would get a cut in my mouth, but I do worry about getting a cold sore a day or two before a scheduled meeting.

I only see escorts when I travel to Las Vegas, and I am only there for two weeks max, so I do worry about getting a cold or cold sore because with so little time, it would ruin my whole trip.

I would still keep a meeting if possible, but obviously there would be no kissing or oral on the escort, as that would be risky for both parties.

I actually had it happen once. Cut my lip, while preparing for the date. I still proceeded but I let her know. We made the best of everything else but there was no kissing or DATY for obvious reasons. It was unfortunate since I enjoy those activities, and I would have cancelled, except this was a visiting provider I really wanted to see and it was an extended date. Besides finding other fun activities to do, while avoiding daty and kissing, we made up for it on future dates when she toured through my area again, and always had something to talk and laugh about.

Common sense says cancel, or at the least, make sure the other party is informed. The other party may want to cancel. If you proceed, then be safe, avoiding activities which would be affected by the mouth cut.

If you are engaging in any type of body worship, I would. Just to be on the safe side. I am sure you will be ready to go within a week!!!

.......is always best.  In "perfects" scenario, he chose to follow through with limited activities.  Kudos to you for keeping your date, and knowing your limitations.

  I recently had an incident, where I was playing with a friends new puppy.  The puppy scratched my lip, and drew blood.  I had a date the following day, with a new friend, who I knew liked to kiss.  Since that was not going to happen, I gave him the choice to visit, or postpone.  We postponed.  

  I would never lead a gentlemen to believe his expectations will be met, if I know they can not.
