First time hobbyist, and wondering about some Vegas Strip hotel nuances. I have no references, but after lurking here for months seeking insight, I have made an appointment in Vegas. The provider has an extensively good TER history. I'm approved.
Cash in unsealed envelope in hotel bathroom, or bureau near door upon arrival?
Marked as "gift", or marked with providers name? ID (work) or drivers license prior to hotel room, or in bathroom/on bureau?
Provider knows I am rookie. Just don't want to act like one.
Good move picking one with an "extensive" history.
Cash in an unsealed envelope on the bathroom counter. This allows her to discreetly take a peek while she is freshening up. I never mark it gift or anything else. Putting her name on it would be useless, since in the unlikely event that LE breaks down the door I guarantee the name you know her as will NOT be the one on her ID.
First couple of times I left my ID beside the envelope, but haven't since, and no one has asked to see it. If she insists on that on her web site, well decide for yourself. If she doesn't request it, I wouldn't bother.
Depending on the hotel, you might have to go downstairs, find her, and escort her up to your room. I've attached a link to the various hotel's security policies we like to use.
It's a good idea to leave open luggage and/or a boarding pass or ticket voucher openly visable in your room. It's comforting to Vegas providers to see that sort of thing.
Too much shit to think about, lol. Don't worry and just enjoy yourself.
I agree with IMALLIN, leave something visible as far as a boarding pass or luggage tickets. It is comforting knowing you really are traveling lol. Or if you are a local, then go ahead and leave your ID on the table so she can see it if she chooses.
As for where to meet. Most hotels have a nice bar/lounge in them. Maybe suggest the two of you meet there and have a drink. Most of us won't say no to that It also can help break the ice and ease the nervousness.
If you do opt to meet downstairs, be sure to tell her what you will be wearing. And try not to wear black paints and button up that is white or black, cause that describes 90% of the people in Vegas LOL.
