I know you are disappointed, but this is sometimes the nature of the business.  NO, don't ask for a futher reduction.

If you want to meet her, fine, go have a good time.
If you don't feel you can move past this, move on to another.  You might even want to try another now & circle back for this one.

Hi all,

A well reviewed provider I was trying to see flaked on me 2 days ago.  She told me a few hours before our appointed time that she was going to go to a photoshoot instead.  To compensate, she said she'd lower her rate by 100.  I accepted and we set a time for Thursday (today).  However she just emailed/texted me to say she was up all night and got a fever, but she is really sorry and wants to see me another time.  I have reason to believe she's making this up and it's just an excuse.  I feel like I should ask her to reduce her rate again, but I don't want to seem tasteless.  I have never missed an appointment in my life.

What should I do?

I'm a newb as well, and one of the first things i've learned is to be patient.

Had a similar experience where i was canceled on because of a hangover. At least she was honest, and let's face it, providers are just as human as we are. Ironically, the next day I had to cancel, and she was equally understanding. We rescheduled a 3rd time, and although she didn't cancel, she was stressed out so I suggested she take a day off.

We rescheduled again, and had a wonderful time. Being gracious and understanding during the cancellations made our initial meeting much more friendlier. It had given both of us an opportunity to reveal character before we ever met.

If she's someone worth seeing, relax. and what's a $100 among friends?

excuse is so bad that it counts as two strikes.  Move on.  As SKB said, if she is that hot, you might want to try to schedule with her in a few months.

I've had this happen before where me and a provider's time wouldn't come in line with each other.  As one person said, if you really want to see her, then wait a few months for her to return, and then try and see her again.

The mistake that you don't want to make is to keep calling and e-mailing, or texting her about having a session or asking for further discounts. I did this once to one of ATF's, and caught her on a bad day.............so you know the rest of the story.

Remember you're not the only guy she sees.
