I've finally made the plunge. I have gone through this site for a long time, I've hobbied once in Amsterdam. I have finally decided to splurge and take care of myself here at home. If you are in your hometown, and it is a smallish place, avoiding being seen is important.

Don't park your car on the street in front of the place.  (I did this once and got busted by the now ex.)

Park in a garage if you can, or even consider taking a cab or something like that.

If your hometown is small, and if it's possible someone might pay you a surprise visit, be very careful.  If you can have her park in your garage, that might help the discretion issue.
