First time, questions on screening

Hey all, I have been reading for a while and doing my research, found one that I'd be ready to take the plunge. Everything about the service seems perfect. It's not just a massage parlor, but an apartment setup. My question is, what can I do to help the screening process go smoothly? I'd hate to just be blatant about no references and not have the requested information and end up not being able to see a provider because of so.

With no references and just a VIP TER account, what would be the next suggestions to help improve the screening process at a place that is a bit more upscale then the rub n tugs.

Thanks!
Tad

Yeah, fair enough. It's going through an agency it seems. Just trying to not look like a fool or cause them to block me for being too much of a newb.

Thanks!

I agree with the suggestion of joining P411.  Gina and her staff will work with you to get you verified.  It's always better to give personal info to one site than to a bunch of providers until you get some references.  Above all, be honest with the provider.  Read the self help center at the link under the life preserver above.  It will be of great help.

Very helpful, yeah it seems like it makes sense to get pre-approved on P411 before reaching out. Not looking to lie, just looking to make things as smooth as possible.

Thanks for the tips, I'll have to move forward with that before anything else.

However, it seems like the OP is looking at a place that might not be a member of p411.

If that's the case, my advice would be to contact them using their preferred method (should be listed in their ads or website). Say that you'd like to make an appointment with, say, Julie on Thursday at 5PM. That you'd be a first time client, and would be willing to provide any additional information they require. I'd leave out the part about never having seen ANY provider before (as someone else pointed out, that might make a provider feel skeptical)...unless, they ask.

If that doesn't work, I'd move on...or, if you have a high risk tolerance, try calling from a verifiable phone number, or emailing from a verifiable email address (linked to your real-life persona). That poses risks to your privacy, so you'll need to decide for himself if the risk outweighs the benefit...many people would advise NEVER to do this

Also very helpful, it's a smaller NYC agency. So I think your first approach would work best. They just have a website as far as I know. Also just curious if I am just going to a BP advertised NYC kmp, would I need anything more for that as well? Or is that more typically just call and screen in person upon arrival?

...read here.  It's a completely different world.  Read the K-girl board and the New York discussion board and ask for advice there.
