...If you gave her any info at all she very likely did some checking. Phone number you called her from possibly.  

If she has a profile on TER & reviews (I think you were saying she had 15) then you should be ok.

I have to ask though, do you have the VIP membership and did you actually read the juicy details of the reviews. That would go a long way toward assuring you she is legit.  

If you can you could try PM'ing some of her recent reviewers and asking them about your concerns.  
Since you are a newbie some may not respond so be prepared for that

don't assume that she has not screened you in some way.  The ladies have many ways to check us out, which you will not know about.

You can "assume" the guys that reviewed her were not wanting to get verified and have zero standards.

If you included any info, specifically your TER info, she probably did verification, just without you knowing. If all you sent was "hey, let's get a meeting together," then I'd be worried.

There are a good amont of great TER reviews on this person and I have VIP access to these reviews, but does that mean it would be safe? I'm just paranoid because she is located right near Times Square, and set-up was surprisingly easy, I don't even have to call anyone until a few hours before the appointment. Is that normal? I did give my phone number and e-mail though.
