Nothing is 100% safe but in general you can reduce your risk significantly by some of the procedures you described.  I would also suggest you try to back channel hobbyist that reviewed her about your concerns.  Be warned some may not reply because you are a newbie and may be concern that you are LE.  Check the local boards also to see if she has an extensive and LONG posting history.  For me I also try to engage in a little e-mail exchange to gage her.  This however can be overdone and you can be considered a “time waster”.  I almost lost a fine lady doing this.

With the exception of a few ranches in Neveda the only thing that is legit is “time and company” and you should endeavor to keep it overtly so for your and her protection.  What is done covertly between two consenting adults is also legit if you get my drift .

First, TBD is not an agency but rather another board similar to TER.  Multiple reviews from guys who have posted multiple reviews over time, is generally a safe way to go.  Hobby safe.
