I set up my first appointment with an agency that has excellent reivews on one of the regional boards, and with a provider that has 2 pages of equally positive reviews. All that the agency asked of me was my name, town, and state on my ID, and two contact numbers (home and cell). It all seemed too easy. Am I being overly paranoid for thinking so? Thanks.
Actually, they are asking for more information than a lot of other agencies or even independent providers...generally a work # (for employment verification) is sufficient
That is pretty much what my favorite agency asks for and I've had probably 30 or 40 trouble-free appointments over the years. What are you paranoid about? Agencies verify with enough info to protect their ladies. A valid ID and verifiable phone numbers are all they really need. I do know some independent ladies who insist on a work # if you don't have references.
The screening question comes up a lot, and I think a lot of people think they're gonna be asked an hour of probing questions. That just doesn't happen (or at least it shouldn't) You actually gave up more than I would have.
I don't know if I'd call you paranoid, but you don't need to fear that they won't be doing their homework.
. . . I ask for your full name, to see your photo ID when you arrive, your mobile # and either a reference from another provider OR a business # so I can call it and ask for you anonymously.
