Post below asked how a new lady was supposed to establish herself.  one of the responses had good advice about establishing self here with postings, website, etc.

Here is another thing -- I recall reading reviews where someone tried a session with a new person based on a recommendation from a trusted provider.  Kind of like "I am not available but there's this new girl I think you would like."

So maybe we need a provider for provider referral network or a provider-mentor network.

Just curious -- how much do established ladies guide new ladies?

Then again, had a lady tell me that her approach was to remain more separate from other providers.

sweetie, just be very careful who you trust.
There are a lot of very nice women in this business, but there are some not so nice people as well.

As for reviews, they will come.

Just bone up on your local laws, know your rights and never talk to a guy who asks too many indiscreet questions. Good luck

This could be posted in your ad. See tatooedasiankim 's website.  She offers a reviewer price.

I just wrote a first review for Brooke that I was encouraged to see by her mentor that is a FAV as a double with her.  She was a sweetheart.  (The review is still pending approval)

but if you give special pricing to reviewers, how could the review be considered valid? Wouldn't it surmount to a bribe?

I believe the generally acceptable approach is to offer a discount by saying:
"I have a promotion for a small discount of $XX for TER reviewers that have [5] or more reviews."

What you cannot say is:
"I have a promotion for a small discount of $XX for anyone that posts a good review of me."

I guess the logic is, the first situation you are saying, "Come out and see me and I hope you like me enough to post an honest review."  In the second you are saying, "You'll get the discount if you post a high scoring review whether I really earned it or not."

I see what you're saying. I guess my reluctance stems from when I started off in this business, the first time, lol.
I had one review and I got this call from a guy, really arrogant about pointing out that he was a TER reviewer and that if I saw him for free, he would give me a review. Well, being new to the game, I thought that seemed a little messed up, so I declined. I half expected him to give me a bad review, but he never did.

I'll try it your way, thx for the suggestion

I am sorry to hear of your early encounter in the world of reviews and reviewers.

I often post on these boards about how much I dislike the way a select few providers manipulate their reviews for better scores.  But at least I can rationally justify that somewhat by realizing that they are simply trying to increase their business.  I don't like it, but I can see why they would do it.

On the other hand, I have read/heard a few stories about reviewers that try to game the system from the other side.  Jerks like the customer you mentioned.  Those guys are slime pure and simple.  They try to bully providers (and often it seems it is the newer, unestablished providers) into giving them 'extras' or freebies in exchange for their 'seal of approval'.

I hope those guys are outed in the provider back-channels.  All they are doing is either trying to save a buck and/or attempting to prop up their fragile egos at the expense of a lady's business and dignity.

I'm not sure what the Provider's Playbook calls for when dealing with these creeps, but I would hope it is not to go along with their little game.

Good luck out there.

I didn't so much give a discount to certain reviewers, I gave a discount to anyone who is a member. I figured that that is a better way to drum up business but at the same time not give special treatment to one group of guys.

I honestly want real scores. Yeah it kind of stings when some guy says that you look average, when everyone else is saying gorgeous. But it's all just personal opinion. The score I mostly concern myself with is performance.
